Ugh! It was too early in the morning for practice at least me sleep a little damn!
My team really wanted us to practice because of our upcoming game with Karasuno whoever they were.
I was on my way when i saw a kid on the other side of the street with some bald dude.
I dont know why (maybe because im nosy) listened to their conversation i mean everyone could hear from how loud they were yelling.
It more or less boring all they talked about was volleyball practice im surprised they got up so early for that i mean it is like 8 in the morning on a weekend who does that?!
The bald dude went into what i assumed was his house and the little kid was walking all by himself.
I didn't want this defenseless kid walking home alone that's dangerous.(also if im being honest i wanted an excuse out of practice anyway)
I ran over to him.
"Hey kid what are you doing walking alone-"
Thats when i felt a pain to my umm you know what i dont have to explain it and fell to my knees.
"Fuck! you scared me! Also im not a kid asshole!"
I looked up and saw a really cute boy- What are you thinking! Also is he not a child?!
"Sorry for scaring you and calling you a kid...even though you look like one. OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!"
for clarification he punched my shoulder really hard i think i hear it pop.
"Im not a fucking kid im a teenager and a second year high schooler how dare you!"
Hes a second year? In high school? And is an actual teenager?!
Contrary to beliefs im not a complete asshole so i wanted to make this right.(also i can be a bit selfish i mean can you blame me a cute second year has entered my proximity im taking advantage of it)
"Hey im sorry can i make it up to you uhh?"
"Its Nishinoya, Nishinoya Yuu ok and how?"
I thought for a moment actually make that half a second.
"You free at the moment?"
"Ya why?" He asked with this look of confusion written on his face.
"Well theres a cafe open around here wanna go there my treat."
Thats when i saw the cutest look of pure joy ever.

Im so thankful i just got my allowance this month or else id look like an idiot.
"Sure lets go then!!!"
He bounced up and down a few times before we made our way to the café.
The place was small but cheap but already looked busy, even so im not going to break my word.
We walked in and went to a booth by a window close to the front desk.
"Hello can i get you two anything?" The server asked us.
"Ill take an iced coffee with no whip and he will have-"
"A coldbrew coffee with whip extra shots of caffeine if possible."
I was surprised at his order i thought he would get one of the more sugary options the server also looked taken aback by his order.
"Im sorry i dont think i can give that to a child."
He looked like he was about to pop but at the same time looked like he expected this.
"Ma'am im 17 i think im perfectly capable of handling my coffee."
She nodded and mumbled an apology before leaving with our order.
"Wow."
"What?" He asked me.
"I cant believe you just said that to her." I said barley containing my laughter.
"Well this isnt the first time someone did this so im pretty much used to it."
She soon came back with our orders and we enjoyed them i mean he definitely looked like he was enjoying it.
There was whip cream all over his face some was even on his nose.
I leaned over and wiped it off he looked shocked.
"Sorry there was whip cream on your face."
"Its fine just warn me next time."
When we were done there we left the small café and i walked him home.
"That was fun!"
He was again jumping up and down i had to literally pick him up and set him down in order to make him stop jumping.
"Ya it was. Hey by any chance can i get your number?"
I asked him. I asked him for his number. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.
"Smooth and sure. Here you go have a good day mr. Tongue Piercing!"
He handed me his number and walked into his house.
Oh Hell YA!
I started walking to my house when i decided to put the number in my phone before i forgot.
It was 11:15 in the morning.
I feel like there was something i was supposed to do but i cant put a finger on it.
I opened my contacts only to see hundreds of messages from my team asking where i was.
Ah.
Thats what i was supposed to do.
