Beneath the sprawling expanse of the Great Alvine mountain ranges lies a vast and dense forest, its roots intertwined with the echoes of a bygone era— since the decline of the Eastern Aetherium Empire and the demise of Governor Lucius Mallus (Ancient-Human), known as "The Pious." The Northern region once known as "Provincia Raurecia Prima" or later "Theme Raurecia" has succumbed to the hands of barbarians, transforming the once peaceful and serene region into a relentless battleground where countless tribes and chiefdoms rose and fell in a ceaseless struggle for dominance.

While the regions down south managed to maintain a degree of stability and unity, the North, particularly along the base of the mountain ranges, remained a fragmented tapestry of warring factions. No united nation emerged from the chaos, and the tribes and chiefdoms engaged in gruesome battles, committing atrocious acts against each other.

But... everything started to change with the arrival of the Wolf demi-God, Alion approximately 1000 years ago. His overwhelming power rallied the Zanaar race and their allied kin, swiftly uniting the Northern base of the mountains. After Alion's return to the celestial domain, the once-chaotic northern region found cohesion among five major races: Zanaar, Etoei, Nundar, Ketozii, and Hu'aten. Zanaar, emerging as the leading race, assumed the mantle of leadership within the Donacii Confederacy.

However, amidst the treacherous mountain ranges, numerous tribes and villages persisted in resisting the rule of the Zanaars and the other four races. They leveraged the treacherous terrain to their advantage, creating pockets of resistance against the formidable powers that sought control.

Underneath a beautiful sky that belied the brutal reality on the ground, gruesome battles unfolded. Mountaneous tribes fought desperately for their lives and survival, while their adversaries battled for the sheer enjoyment and fulfillment of sinister desires. Despite the advantageous surroundings for the mountainous tribes, the glaring physical power disparity favored the Zanaars and their allies.

Amidst the chaotic clash of iron and despair, a figure emerged, crowned with a white beard and  goat horns protruding from his head. His voice roared like thunder, attempting to rally the downtrodden defenders.

"Stand firm, courageous Lideks (Goat Demi-Humans)! For our loved ones, for the memory of our ancestors and the blessings of ancient gods (Referring to ancient humans), we must persist!"
