" What in your right mind thought it was a good idea to do that?!"

" I thought it would be funny to see her reaction."

" Are you happy now, Jackass?!" Hakuryuu was a little more than furious at the fallen magi in front of him right now. Just what has the black haired magi done this time?

He had just made the first princess of [kingdom name] (Name) (Last name) run off in tears. The reason?

     His boredom overtook him.

" To be honest, I would have thought she would have collapsed into tears, but beggars can't be choosers can they?" He merrily sang while taking a bite out of his conveniently placed peach.

It wasn't until the dark blue haired prince smacked the fruit out of his hands did Judal become serious.  " What's the big idea? What, do you care for that little wench?"

After no response came form the other male, a switch flipped in his ( not so very bright) head. " Wait, don't tell me that you do- Oh dear god I was right! The crybaby prince has a thing for-" Judal had began to laugh at the melancholy  expression of the prince before him.

But the only sound echoing throughout the castle was the loud silencing thud of something (someone) hitting the ground.

_________

The (h/c) girl sat in the tree, tears seemingly endless as they fell from her cheeks to the ground far below. The tree she sat in had a view of the whole kingdom, Right in the middle of the empire. If one climbed to the very top of the tall old tree, they could see the whole kingdom surrounding them- even the ocean!

But even this wasn't able to stop those (e/c) jewels from shedding more tears. (Name) was cursed with a broken throbbing heart. Judal's words on a normal basis would have no affect on the princess, but this time those cold words has hit her. Hard if I may say too.

" Was what he said true? Does Hakuryuu really want nothing to..." The grief stricken girl couldn't even finish her question. A series of sobs erupted from her as the tears falling increased.

The birds that flew through the night sky, the small woodland creatures, the stars that shined above: all had heard the sad song of grief form the heart broken princess. The (f/c) flower in her hair was a gift from the prince, the same one she wailed for.

__________

" Where on earth is she?!" Hakuryuu had groaned at the fact that the flower he gave her wasn't as helpful as it should have been. The (f/c) flower that was in her hair acted as a tracker if the time ever called for it. Now this would be very handy, if it worked accurately enough.

The only problem with the tracker was that it was a plant in itself, and seeing that she was basically surrounded by them.... You see where this is going right?

" Maybe if you focus enough, you'll actually find her? You know: maybe instead of blindingly relying on my power to do everything??" Zagan chimed in, amusement clear in his voice. He did care for the young princess, but he just loved teasing the young prince so much already.

" What do you think I'm trying to do?" Hakuryuu sighed as he leaned against a tree in the clearing. This very old tree was the only one in the large space if grass, located on a hill. The starry night was a breath taking sight, but he had something more important to do than gazing at the shower of stars.

" You seriously want a little tip?"

   " Hm?"

   "Look up."

" Eh?" Hakuryuu was left confused by Zagan's little 'tip' before he heard a cracking sound. Above him a branch, at the very top, about to fall. But what he saw on top of said branch was what made his blood run cold.

On top of the braking branch was none other than (Name), clinging onto the tree for dear life. She couldn't see what was below for her eyes were glued shut. Nor would she want to see what waited for her at the bottom.

" (Name)!" The shouting of the prince had gotten her attention. With tear filled irises, she looked down only to find Hakuryuu waving his hands around, weapon resting on the ground.

" (Name)! I'm sure this sounds crazy, but you have to jump!" He shouted to you, which got an immediate reaction in return.  " No! No way in hell am I jumping!" You shook your head violently, body only trembling as the branch broke off more and more.

" You have to trust me on this one, (Name). Please trust me!"

   " Why?! Why should I-?!"

" (Name)!" Hakuryuu could only stare at your falling form, approaching the earth at a dangerous speed.

The only thing you heard was the sound of wind whipping past your small frame along with the broken branch. The next thing you felt, before even blinking, was a strong yet soft surface. Looking up, you locked with different shades of blue. Never once have you been so relieved to see that smiling face.

" You alright, (Name)?" He asked, holding you closer to his chest. Even though you were very capable of walking by yourself, this was much more of a pleasant way of transportation.

" I'm alright. Thanks for saving me, Hakuryuu." You leaned into his chest, staring up at the lit night sky. He had went back over to the tree to grab his staff, and had begun to walk back to where the castle was located.

" Anything for the girl I love!" Hakuryuu cheered, pumping one fist into the air. It had taken about a few minutes for either to process what the scarred prince had proclaimed.

The reaction however was very quick to follow afterwards. The small princess in his arms had glowed a very bright red, while the prince himself stared looked away from the girl in question.

" Hakuryuu..." The (H/c) girl quietly called out to the boy who carried her, successfully gaining his attention. Slowly wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling herself closer to him. As she moved closer to him, Hakuryuu had began to lower himself, slowly closing his eyes.

The space between the two disappeared as the night sky shown brightly, congratulating the new couple.

_____ Extended ending_______

" I'd honestly hate to interrupt you two love birds, but if you don't look where your going-" Zagan had tried to warn them, but both (Name) along with Hakuryuu had walked straight into a tree.
