~Christmas Fair~

Christmas Eve

Y/n's pov
We're now back in LA for Christmas and Lizzie has decided she wants to spend it with my family which they had no problem with. Her parents were a bit bummed but we agreed to go to hers for a bit in the afternoon. My first race for redbull in f1 will be just after new years and I'm exited but also nervous because millions of more people will be watching and I know people are expecting a lot from me and I'd hate to disappoint. All of our presents for each other are sorted under the tree ready for tomorrow so today we can all have a nice Christmas Eve.

I am broken out of my thoughts when I feel Lizzie starting to stir next to me. "Morning beautiful" I say brushing her hair so I can see her face which makes me lost for words every time I see her natural beauty. I still can't believe she's mine. She could be with anyone on this planet but she chose me and I'll be forever grateful for her. "Good morning" she says cuddling into my chest placing a kiss there. I hold her close for a few more minutes.

We end up falling back to sleep for another hour before heading to have some breakfast with my family.

"So what's the plan for today?" I ask my mum as we all eat breakfast together. "Daniel is going to pick up his girlfriend then we'll all head out to the Christmas fair in the city" she explains. Daniel made it official with the girl he slept with at our birthday party which surprised me because he usually doesn't go back for the same girl twice but she must really have his heart. I'm happy for him and it's the least he deserves after he learnt to be happy for me and Lizzie.

"How's it going with you and Maria? I can't wait to meet her" I say to Daniel and I can see the smile that creeps onto his face. "She's amazing man like really amazing. Never would I of imagined meeting someone like her" he says making me smile. "I'm so happy for you" Lizzie adds and he offers her a smile in thanks. "I'm gonna go pick her up I'll be back soon" he says before heading out of the house.

"Thank you for breakfast" Lizzie says after finishing of her plate and orange juice. "Thanks mum. Let's go and get dresssed babe" I say offering her a hand. As she walks up the stairs infront of me I slap her ass making her squeal as she runs away. "Y/n! Stop it" she laughs as she bolts for my room. I chase after her and tackle her onto the bed, her giggles filling the room as I begin to tickle her sides.

"Your so annoying" she gets out through her laughter. "I know" I say as we begin to calm down and start getting ready.

Lizzie's pov
This past month has been perfect. Having y/n with us in New York has made everything so much better as I don't have to worry about us living at opposite sides of the country. Hes been really exited about racing in f1 but sometimes his nerves get the best of him but I do my best to support him. Right now we are chilling downstairs just as Daniel and his new girlfriend walk in.

"We're here!" Daniel announces and I jump up and head straight over to his girlfriend, wanting to get along with her. "Hey I'm Lizzie y/n's girlfriend" I say with a smile offering a polite hug which she accepts. "I'm Maria, it's nice to meet you Lizzie" she replies as we pull away. "And I'm the better riccairdo" y/n says coming over to us offering her a handshake after Daniel nudges him. Maria giggles at his words as they shake hands. "Nice to meet you. Daniel speaks a lot about you" she replies making y/n smile as he returns his hand and places around my waist making me smile as I edge closer to him.

"Come on I'll introduce you to my parents" Daniel says pulling Maria away, leaving me and my driver alone in the living room. "Howdy partner" y/n says in a country accent as he turns to face me wrapping his arms around my waist, making me shake my head at his goofiness. "Hold your horses cowboy" I reply as we both start giggling. "You exited for the fair? I think I might have to force you on the ferris wheel with me" he says as we sway side to side. "Good luck with that" I say resting my head on his chest. "I'll give you a reward" he whispers in my ear before placing a kiss on my head, the tone of his voice sending shivers down my spine. "Oh really? And what would that be?" I say looking up at him resting my chin on his chest. "Anything you want. I could take you out for dinner. Maybe treat you with a shopping spree or you could make it interesting and take control in the bedroom. Your choice really" he flirts making me blush. "The last option sounds temping. I think I'd be willing to face my fears for that reward" I reply not once breaking our eye contact. "That's my girl" he says as we finally lean in to connect our lips in a passionate kiss.

"Stop eating each others faces and get your shoes on so we can get going dickheads!" Daniel shouts making Maria slap him on his chest. "They're cute let them be" she says making me giggle. I like this girl, I think we'll be great friends.

"Daniel Joseph Ricciardo stop potty mouthing around my house" Layla says scolding Daniel and me and y/n stick our tongues out at him, teasing him as we walk over. "Come on Maria and potty mouth" I say and then we all head to the door to put our shoes on.

"Baby I'm scared" I say to y/n as we takes our seats on the big ferris wheel at the fair. "Babe Atleast if we fall we'll go down together" he says making me glare at him. "Not helping" I say poking his cheek. "I'm just kidding. I promise you we'll embrace perfectly fine" he says wrapping his arm around me as we begin to go up. "Oh shit" I saying covering my eyes as we go higher and higher. I hear y/n giggle before he pulls my hands from my face. "Look how beautiful it is liz" he says and I look around starting to feel more comfortable the more we go up. The lights of the city are amazing so I decide to take a couple of pictures of us both just as we stop at the top.

"Do I get a kiss?" Y/n says puckering his lips making me shake my head as we share a loving kiss at the top of the ferris wheel. "We are officially the most cliche couple" I say as we pull away.

The rest of the night went perfect and I couldn't be more grateful. My driver makes everything better and I can't thank Chris enough for dragging me to Texas.
