Hi y'all,

This is my favorite story I've written so far! Ugh I love it. It's super dark but I love how action packed and chaotic it is!

The reason I wanted to rewrite this story was because my writing skills have improved some and I wanted it in present tense instead of past tense. And the old version had some plot holes that I didn't like, also I didn't like how vague Kaila's backstory was in the other one, this new version dips a lot more into her life in Barbados as well as her relationships.

This one is lot longer as well, if you're coming from the other version, this is still worth reading because I changed a lot of the big twists from the other one, but it's still super good!

I'll go back through and fix any typos later! This book is going to probably be my longest one so it'll take me a bit to fix any plot holes and such but I try to skim over the chapter before publishing it. And sometimes the text thread portions act up and do funky stuff so I'm sorry if that happens.

If you like sappy relationships then I have another JJ fanfic called Alluring, go check that one out! Also I have a trio relationship JJ fanfic, called It'll Always Be You. It's the rewrite one, not the old version. He is bisexual in that story though, so keep that in mind.

My books always have darker themes so take that into consideration. Lots of trigger warning worthy content.

This story has some toxic relationships and even the healthy relationships have issues here and there, so enjoy the content!

This is a JJ Maybank fanfic from Outer Banks. The main characters in this story are 18 years old or older. The story follows the show plotline but I've added and taken away a lot to fit my characters lives, so this isn't the typical chapter to chapter story from the show, there's extra fluff to keep it interesting.

I got the instagram post and text ideas from another JJ fanfic called last first kiss! Figured I'd give that writer the credit for the idea. (:

This is not a slow burn. Its a drama filled story with love along the way.

I recommend 18+ys old reader audience for this book.

There's so much SMUT in this story, haha, like a ton, sometimes back to back chapters so enjoy.
