Log 1

We went down to Killdane and on the way we were chased by Emily. We readied for a fight but then a whistle was heard and in the distance an engine with a line of tankers smashed into Emily knocking her off the line and killing her. We looked to see Murdoch was the one who had pushed the tankers. He couldn't believe the sight of us, but Edward was the most surprised out of everyone as he thought he was dead. We were glad he was alive and that he had saved us. He said that he was glad more engines were alive and that he had been hiding out at Killdane. We arrived at Killdane where there was a bigger surprise waiting for us. There sitting under the goods shed was Henry. We didn't get it, we thought he had killed himself. He said that the crash they heard was Murdoch running into Henry stopping him. We reset up everything and Murdoch was acting strange. He was way more talkative and was alright with all the loud noise. I guess when you're in the eerie silence of the mist for so long you want some noise.

Log 2

Murdoch explained that after he shot past Edward, he was sent into the facility yard and crashed into the trucks Thomas had been shunting. He and his crew sat in the eerie silence for days. Eventually they were found by Harvey. He quickly got to work rerailing Murdoch and once he was back on the rails, they set off together down the mainline. They stopped at the Kirk Ronan junction where Murdoch decided to check up on Fergus while Harvey volunteered to stay behind. Once he reached the cement works, he found Fergus with a bunch of workmen. As they chatted, they heard the sound of Thomas' whistle. They were glad at first, but that was replaced by fear as Thomas slammed into Fergus. Murdoch quickly ran from the cement works passing the remains of Harvey. Clearly Thomas had gotten him before going down the branch. After that he spent his time heading up and down the line searching for any poor souls' survivors. At one point he made his way to Vicarstown where he met with Henry. After that they went towards Crovan's Gate where they talked with Rheneas, Peter Sam and Rusty. As they were talking, they heard what sounded to be Gordon's whistle echoing in the distance. Then they heard another whistle from the opposite direction, and they were shocked to see Spencer race by. By the time they realized the two engines were on a collision course it was too late. The two infected express engines crashed into each other head on and the site was awful. Murdoch and Henry couldn't even describe it. Just as they processed what had happened Sir Handel raced into view and slammed into Peter Sam. The two big engines raced away leaving the narrow-gauge engines and their screams behind. They also went up towards the Ironworks where they found one of the iron twins had crashed into some trucks and had been infected. Within the smelting shed they found Diesel 10, however pinchy had slammed through the roof crushing his front which included his face and not too far was Oliver. He was babbling about Thomas, Emily, and Toad. Before the two big engines could reach him, he bolted away out of the Ironworks.

We explained the plan to Murdoch, Henry and the people who were with them and they were excited and ready to end this once and for all. We loaded the people into the coaches and were about to head off but then we remembered Douglas was out of coal and wouldn't be able to come. Duck and Henry volunteered to stay behind with him as the rest of us said our goodbyes and began heading out. I hope we're able to get home.

Log 3

We made it closer and closer and began to see more bodies and even a few engines I didn't recognize. One was a grey diesel engine while the other was a little pink tank engine, but what was even stranger was the fact it seemed to be of an American design. James mentioned how these might be the engines sent by the mainland that Thomas mentioned. We shuttered to think these engines never made it past Killdane. We knew the mist would probably be worse the closer and closer we got to the facility, so we were ready for anything.

Log 4

We arrived in the facility yard, and we could barely see in front of us. Edward noticed the spot where he had last talked to Thomas before he changed into the monster he is now. We were almost there when we saw this giant creature. It was a large beast with four legs and strange tentacles on its face. The thing walked right over us probably didn't even notice us due to its height. We walked into the facility, and it was dark. Not even our flashlights could pearce the dark mist. We found a blocked off control room with a few of the facility staff. The two guards had pointed their guns at us, but they didn't stand a chance as we disarmed them. Metwo grabbed both the guns and pointed them at the workers. He told them to reverse this or else, but they said it was too big now the mist had consumed over 84% of Britain and soon nothing in Britain will stand. He noticed me and was marveled talking about how he couldn't believe the mist's work. He laughed and said that he had no regrets and was immediately shot. Metwo pointed his guns back at the other personnel who had gotten the message and were now willing to help.

Log 5

While making our way towards the main lab we were attacked by giant spider-like creatures with heads shaped like skulls. They were fast and took out a few people. Metwo said we had to keep going as there could be a nest of these things and he was right. There was a man tangled up in webs. One of the guards identified him as his friend, but there was no saving him; his stomach began to pulsate and bubble. He screamed in pain as his stomach exploded releasing thousands of those spiders from his stomach. That guard was doused in the corrosive acid and spiders from his friend's stomach and was killed. We ran till we finally made it to the main lab and saw the tracks leading outside. So, we opened up the door and brought in the engines. James and Thomas were excited at the thought of getting home. The others grew saddened by our soon departure. The scientists began to open a portal back to our world and I heard the people from my world. I couldn't believe it; I heard my wife calling my name. I was about to enter when we heard loud bangs coming from the other door. The door was soon prided open, and tentacles entered from the mist. Metwo told everyone to not make a sound but one of the tentacles found one of the survivors first. It grabbed his leg and threw him to the ground. We all ran to help him, but the thing overpowered us. He tried to hold onto the door, but he was soon pulled out of sight. Eventually more of those tentacles entered the room and we were overwhelmed as they flung people across the room. Metwo told everyone to grab as much equipment as possible as I hopped into James' cab and began to back him. I then realized Phil wasn't in the cab. I looked out to see him facing the beast. He looked at me, told me to take care of his family and as the thing pulled him into the mist, he pulled the pins from two grenades. Metwo acted quickly and through James into reverse as the explosion was heard from the other side of the base. As we were leaving the facility, I heard its whistle coming from the far side of the facility.

Log 6

We raced back to Killdane where we found Duck, Henry and Douglas who were surprised to see us. We told them what had happened, and they were shocked and couldn't believe how many of these monsters there were. They told us they found something as well. They called for someone behind some trucks and there were two engines who were sent by the mainland in a rescue mission. One was a black Q1 and the other was a yellow GER D56 Class. The Q1 called himself Neville and the D56 was Molly. They were apparently attacked by the engine of mist and were saved by Duck. After they filled Douglas with coal and continued down the line to look for anyone else. We realized Douglas now had two tenders and they said they saw "it" who had the tender behind him. It was painted black with red lining and the number 9 was just barely visible. "It" said he failed to submit and had to be punished. Douglas couldn't handle the retelling story and began to rush out of the shed saying he couldn't take it anymore. We saw the crane and knew what he planned to do. Edward raced in front of him just in time and spoke to the broken scot telling him that it's the mist taking control and he has to stay hopeful for Donald. Douglas was pushed back in the shed and we're not going to let him out of our sight.

Log 7

While talking we heard yelling and we saw Douglas racing out of the yard saying how he would end this once and for all. We tried to chase after him, but we couldn't keep up. He was eventually out of sight. Everyone thought we wouldn't see Douglas again but Edward being a wise sage said that Douglas will be back.
