Harry woke up slowly, his body feeling heavy in a good way. He hadn't felt this relaxed in ages! He stretched out before managing to open his eyes, pretty blonde hair obscuring his vision. Draco was using him as a pillow as he continued to snore, his mouth hanging wide open. Harry stared at him and marveled at his treasure beside him. He was lovely. He would have to find him another gift. Harry was sure no other Siren had a mate as wonderful as his. Harry slowly grinned as he thought of his kind. Perhaps he could find another Siren and steal their scales! He pictured Draco wearing scales in his hair and purred happily. Yes, that would be a wonderful idea.
"Er, Harbear?" Ron's voice interrupted his plotting and he peered up at him, not knowing his pupils were slitted like a snake.
"Good morning, Ron!" Harry whispered, making sure to keep his voice low so he wouldn't wake up his mate. He gently ran his hand through his hair and hummed at how soft it was. He really would have to convince Draco to let him have just a little bit of it.
"We're going to breakfast. We'll see you later?" Ron looked awkward as he tried not to stare at him and Harry smiled brightly at his friend.
"See you later!" He could hear everyone leaving and pulled Draco closer, his heartbeat thudding in his ears. He could feel how sharp his teeth were as he continued to hum, happy knowing his beloved felt safe in his arms. Harry would do anything to protect Draco. As long as it made him happy, Harry was happy. He spent the morning plotting, determined to find a perfect gift for his treasure.
"Harry?" A sleepy voice mumbled against his neck and Draco stared blearily at him as he sat up.
"What time is it?"
"It's nine." He answered, his voice raspy from humming so long. Draco blinked before touching his face.
"Your scales are out." Harry took a deep breath as he tried to concentrate on anything other than Draco.
"Your scent is everywhere. It's so nice." He hissed the last words, his eyes closing in contentment. Draco huffed out a laugh.
"You're so cuddly in the morning, Harry." Harry bit his lip as he stared at Draco, his instincts screaming at him.
"Are you okay?" Draco asked, his hand reaching up to cup his cheek.
Harry lurched forward so he was hovering over him, his mind blank as he kissed Draco's nose.
"Treasure, I have a request." He murmured, his canines peeking out.
"Yes?" Draco's voice was slightly deeper than usual, his eyes warm.
"May I bite you? Just a little bit." He couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth. He should be drowning in embarrassment but he needed this. His teeth ached as he waited for Draco to reply.
"Is that all? You can bite me anytime you want, Harry. Ron shared some of his Siren facts with me and I know you want to." Draco's lips curled into a smile as he peeked at him from underneath his eyelashes.
"I'm surprised it took you so long to ask." Harry didn't waste time replying, he simply started unbuttoning Draco's pajama top. He stared at his chest, his eyes roaming over pale skin as he tried to decide where he should mark him.
The first bite was special.
He watched him closely, making sure Draco was comfortable before he made his move.
His left hand gently covered Draco's eyes as his right hand held his arm out. The Dark Mark was dull but it still stood out against Draco's fair complexion.
"Harry, that's-". Whatever Draco was going to say was cut off as he gave a loud moan, Harry's teeth sinking into the tender flesh. He could taste the Dark Magic on his tongue and bit harder, determined to get the foul thing off of his beloved. When he was sure it was gone and all he could taste was Draco, he let his tongue wander. Yes, he had chosen perfectly. No one else would be able to bear the sight of him like this. His Creature instincts would disgust them but not his treasure. Draco was panting loudly underneath him and Harry reveled in the sounds he made. He would be the only person to see his darling like this.
"Merlin, I thought Gran was going to walk me through the floo herself! It was so embarrassing." Neville was carrying his luggage through the door, his back to them. He partially turned before freezing, his mouth wide open.
"I'm sorry!" He yelled as he fumbled with the door knob. Neville had squeezed his eyes shut so he didn't see that the door was still closed as he tripped forward in his haste to get out. He grunted as he slammed into the door, his eyes rolling back into his head as he fell to the floor with a loud thud. Harry stared at Neville, preparing to scoop his eyes out for daring to see Draco in such a state. The sound of Draco's laughter broke through his violent thoughts and he tenderly unclenched his jaw, blood coating his mouth.
"I can't believe Longbottom knocked himself out." He was wheezing as he laughed harder, little snorts escaping.
"I could knock him out forever." He murmured against his neck, his treasure's pulse rising against his lips.
"It's okay, Harry. He didn't mean to. Poor Longbottom, if anyone was going to interrupt us, it would be him." Draco sat up, forcing Harry to follow him.
"Thank you, precious. I really like Neville but I would have ended him, if you asked." Harry kissed the back of his hand before continuing.
"My pretty treasure is so kind." He crooned softly and Draco's face flushed. He avoided his gaze before gasping as he stared down at his Dark Mark. A perfect set of teeth marks now marred the tattoo, the dark color faded to a silvery sheen.
"How'd you do that?" Draco whispered and Harry laughed at the question.
"As if I would allow someone else to brand you. The Mark will simply be a scar now." Harry couldn't help his pleased chirp at the lack of magic coming off of it. He had been meaning to get rid of it but unsure how he would accomplish such a feat. He knew he should've bitten Draco sooner.
"Thank you, Harry." Harry hugged him tightly.
"Think nothing of it. I will do anything for you, just name it." Draco seemed to think before grinning at him.
"I think we should take Longbottom to the Hospital Wing." Harry sighed but got out of bed. He picked up his limp friend before holding open the door.
"Lead the way, Draco."
