A young boy was standing under the rain.
Alone.
No one was there for him anymore. No big brother, for his twin no longer wanted him. His parents... no longer in this world. His family didn't have any other relatives, so no one going to take him. To an orphanage he went.
One week there... No one wanted him. He was only a burden for everyone there with his condition. He really wished that the accident that took his parents, took him as well.
A burst of cough came out from his mouth, with how cold the air was, it was only a matter of time before his usual sickness relapsed.
...maybe if he let it be...
...he won't be a burden anymore.
"OI! Are you alright?!" there was a voice, it was heavy with concern, but Riku couldn't recognize the voice, who? "Yuu-nii! Hurry up and come here!"
"What is it bra—Holy shit!" A rushing sound and he could feel someone holding his body. Strange... When did he fall? "Shit, we need to go to the doctor, now!"
"Kei-nee's place!"
"Right, forget that Nee-san is a doctor."
"How can you forget your sister's job?!"
"Is it even time for that?!"
And Riku... lost his consciousness.

It was a coincidence at that time. Their meeting was not planned, yet like it was fated, they met at that place.

He had already woken up for a few hours now, the people that saved him already contacted the orphanage. Telling them by saying that Riku was staying at a friend's place after Riku said he didn't want to return to that place for now.
"Eh, you feel bad?" Asked the boy
Riku nodded his head, "Because... Riku was lying to them."
The black-haired boy tilted his head, "You mean by saying you're staying at a friend's place?"
Once again, he nodded. The other boy frowned while closing his eyes, before opening his eyes and grinned at Riku.
"Then it's simple! What is your name?"
"Na—name?"
"Yes!" A hand shoved in front of his face, "My name is Daichi, Ametsuchi Daichi!"
Ruby eyes blinked in confusion, but he reached forward and shook his hand, "Riku... my name is Nanase Riku."
"Good! This means you are not lying anymore!"
"Eh?"
"Well, since we already introduced ourselves, we are friends now!" Daichi exclaimed with a big grin, peridot eyes gleamed with happiness of acquiring a new friend.
A hand smacked the black-haired teen, "Idiot brat, that's not how you do that."
"Argh! Yuu-nii! Stop calling me an idiot, you stupid brother!"
The man called 'Yuu-nii' eyes twitched before he grinned and ruffled the other's hairs.
"Brat, that's not how you address your elder!"
