Once again, TRIGGER found themselves in silence and a tense atmosphere. But this time, they weren't at the park. They were seated inside Ryuu's apartment living room. Another revelation they got yesterday was very hard to swallow.
Especially for Tenn.
Both Gaku and Ryuu glanced at each other before they stared at their youngest member who sat still on the sofa. His chin was under his hands, with elbow resting on his tights. Tenn was already there when both of them woke up. And still staying like that ever since.
He did eat breakfast with them earlier, but he immediately went to that position as soon as he finished eating.
They glanced at each other again, silently communication. Whether they should have shook Tenn out of his thoughts or just kept on staying silent. Thankfully, they didn't have to decide.
Because Tenn suddenly took out his phone and tapped something on it. A few moments passed, before a noise of notification could be heard. Rose quartz eyes stared at the screen for a while, like trying to remember what was on the screen. A few more tapping, then he brought up his phone to his ear, waiting for the call to connect.
"A—"
"We need to talk."
-oOo-
And that's how TRIGGER ended up inside a certain someone's apartment. They could tell that it was an expensive one. From the security, furniture, everything screamed 'money'. The owner of said apartment room was currently nonchalantly drinking the tea with a languid smile. As he put down the tea cup, peridot eyes stared at the three of them.
"Well, what a surprise for me that you called me. Where did you get my contact from?"
"Anesagi-san"
"I see. Thankfully, I have some free time today." The man then leaned back on the sofa with hands crossed over his chest, a serious expression entered his face. Yet the playful smile still on his face, "Now then, what do you want to talk about with me?"
Tenn was silently watching the other man. He needed to be careful with his words. Or else the man before him won't talk to him, and he won't get the answer he needed. However, he knew he couldn't lie as well. He was utterly under Ametsuchi Yuuto mercy.
So... he would do this in Riku's way. Head on and with as much honesty as possible.
After a small intake, he opened his mouth, "I need an answer. And you're the only one I know can give me the answer,"
Yuuto tilted his head, "Hmm, answer huh, why didn't you ask Riku-sama for that?"
"I can't," answered Tenn as he shook his head, a small smile on his face, "He is too kind, too loving. He would use a gentler and kinder answer if I asked him," he looked up, staring right at the man's eyes, "Not you."
"Ho? I'm indeed crueller than Riku-sama."
Rose quartz eyes stared at the peridot one. And Tenn could finally confirm, could finally see it. Beyond those actions, beyond those tones, beyond those words. Not only Ametsuchi Yuuto's, but Tsukumo Ryou too. After all, once upon a time he was in their shoes as well.
"You're not cruel, neither are you a sadist. You're just straightforward and honest, toward those you like and dislike. And first and foremost..." Tenn slowly put his hand on his own chest, "You're just an older brother that trying his best to protect his younger brother."
Peridot eyes widened slightly at that statement. Yuuto was silently staring at Tenn, like he was searching for something. Then suddenly, a sincere smile entered his face. His usual image of calm and playful manager immediately melted. Leaving the person before them bare to see.
