Mirabel was at the Rivera household sorting out her stitching for her wedding dress, Rosa had come in with drinks and fruit having girl talk.
"I am so happy for you and Miguel I can't wait to see that wedding dress of yours". Rosa said
"Gracias Prima, The stitching is almost done and it should be ready next month ". Mirabel smiled
"I still can't believe you made your own wedding dress ". Rosa shook her head
"That's what happens when you have a steady hand". Mirabel replied
"Wow, Miguel won't be able to take his eyes off you". Rosa smiled
Mirabel laughed and reached for a biscuit and smiled put the dress down so as not to mess up the freshly made stitching .
"You know I have always wondered what it's like to be be where you live". Rosa poked
"Oh?" Mirabel coaxed her head
"Si , How have you been living there for 62 years
already ". She asked
"I honestly don't know Prima Mi Abuelo was the one to sacrifice it all for us and my family couldn't be more grateful ". Mirabel explained
"But before us didn't you go and see the real world". Rosa was curious
"I did read books and I did go out and explore wen the mountains were open and I have to say it was amazing to be out and not cramped in a small town". Mirabel expressed
"I can't imagine being in a small town with the same people for years". Rosa laughed
"No, it want that bad I mean we helped the townspeople any way we could and that was all that mattered. I mean helped any way I could with sewing and what not ". Shoe smiled
"Well of course no gift needed for that when she is strong on her own". Rosa smiled
"Gracias Prima". Mirabel hugged her
~~~ In the workshop ~~~
Abel was sanding some shoes for a new orderwhen the girls walked by and smiled, Luisa was finishing checking ofrendea room for any dust bunnies and cleaning up and she smiled at the girls walking by and laughed.
"Hola Tia, What is it?" Rosa asked
"Nothing Mija just that Miguel left this in the ofrenda room by accident ". Luisa was holding up his Muisc book.
Rosa shook her head and laughed
"I guess Miguel is always forgetting something no matter what it is". Mirabel smiled
"Si , Seems that way Mija". Luisa laughed
Abel gave Rosa a look to ask Mirabel the question but Rosa shook her head in reply as a 'No'. So Abel asked for his sister.
"Hey Prima?" Abel questioned
"Si?" She coaxed
"Rosa was wondering if she be one of the bridesmaids since you haven't asked your sisters yet". Abel explains
"Of course I would love that, I would love to have Mi Amiga and Mi Prima as my bridesmaid, Just don't tell Lu or Isa yet I am going to ask them next Okay?" She smiled
"Yes I won't I promise ". She chuckled
"Is that what you were so worried to ask me about?" Mirabel coaxed
"Si, I just thought that since you asked Isabela or Lu I wouldn't have a chance". Rosa sighed
"Of course you would have". Mirabel replies and hugged Rosa
Rosa a big sign of relief and followed Mirabel to the kitchen to help with dinner and as they went they laughed.
~~ Later~~
Everyone was at the table and making conversation about the days Events, Mirabel smiled at Rosa and laughed. Miguel looked at the two and chuckled at the scene .
"So what happened today?" Miguel asked
"Nothing much just working, girl chats Wedding planning ". Mirabel replies
"I see". Miguel smiled
" Rosa was too Afriad ask Mirabel if she can be a Bridesmaid so I had to do it for her ". Abel pointed it out.
"Abel I told you that in confidence ". Rosa said flushed
Mirabel then went over to Abel and stood straight in his shadow and just like he shrunk into his seat she smiled and went back to her own.
"That will teach next time someone feels you something in confidence otherwise It will be so much worse". Mirabel replies
Abel shakily nodded and continued eating slowly.
"So you asked Mira didn't you?" Miguel changed the subject
"Sort of as was kind of scared of what she was going to say". Rosa replies
"But of course i want our Prima as our bridesmaid". She smiled
Rosa hugged Mirabel and continued eating and smiled as the rest continued eating. Luisa smiled then spoke up.
"I did some cleaning and I found this in the ofrenda room again ". Luisa handed the book to her son
"Oh thank dios I thought I had lost it ". Miguel breathed
"What's in the book anyway?" Mirabel asked curious
"Sorry Mi Amor can't tell it's for you and you only". He smiled
"You know I am going to find out eventually right?" She questioned
"I know just waiting for the right time , when I get you alone all to myself ". Miguel whispered
"Okay, Muisco I trust you". Mirabel giggles
Miguel laughed went back to eating and couldn't wait to show her his new Song just for her...
