Arthur Fowl

1:Monday morning

"Wake me up"
"Before you go go"
"Don't leave me hanging around"

"Wake me-

"Ughh"
a boy around twelve groaned after turning off his alarm. He wakes up and off to the showers. Who is this boy you're asking? This is Arthur Fowl. His father, Artemis fowl the 2nd who owns a business company called Fowls Industry so most of the time he's never home. That leaves Arthur with someone else, his trusted bodyguard Brian Butler or Butler as he always calls him. After Domovoi Butler retired and became a monk he suggested Artemis to hire his cousin from the UK Brian and he has been with Arthur a year after the boys birth. But what about his mother you ask? Well it's a mystery to Arthur since he never had one throughout his childhood and most of the time he would look for some information about her like her name, where she came from or how she met his father but so far nothing. And now he's having breakfast in the kitchen, all alone.
"Butler, when's dad coming home?'"
Arthur asked.
"I'm not sure, he should be back from Singapore in a matter of three weeks, master."
Brian replies which makes the boy frowned a little.
"Another day another business trip for another
month, what's so important about this business he literally left without saying anything again? And please I asked you to call me by my name."
Arthur asked his bodyguard.
"I'm sorry Arthur, but master Artemis never shares any details about his work."
Brian answers as he goes down the stairs.
"Even with me."
Arthur finishes his breakfast  and takes his electric scooter and goes off to school right across a bridge that was built between the Dakley islands and the south part of Dublin, Ireland. He said as he went off to his school. On the way, a familiar face brings colour to him. A boy around his age wearing a cap and a school uniform is walking by the sidewalk
"Todd!"
as he waved at his best friend since kindergarten Todd Rodriguez.
"Arty!"
Todd shouted and Arthur stopped at the moment.
Both of them then did their secret handshake.
"It's good to see you buddy"
said Arthur
"Hey what can I say somos como dos bagres en una sartén"
Todd answered in spanish.
"Lo mismo aquí amigo."
Arthur said as both of them reached their destination The International School Of Dublin. The boys are now talking while moving through the hallway
"So did you find anything about your mom or something?"
Todd asked.
"I still haven't found anything about her."
Arthur answered.
"Man your mom's a mystery. It's like she just poofs out of existence without leaving a trace"
"Have you checked the walls for any dead bodies?"
Todd asked.
"One you need to stop watching those crime investigation shows and two the Villa Eco is a new building."
Arthur answered jokingly.
"Come on, you know I like those as much as you like MacGyver."
"Okay you win this one."
"What is with you boys always forgetting the only girl in the group?"
They both turn around to a Japanese girl with twin tails a pair of crimson glasses and is wearing a similar uniform only replacing the trousers with a skirt.
"Yuta!"
the both of them called as she came to them.
"So how's summer in Japan?"
Todd asked.
"Oh nothing special, just meeting my grandparents away from the big city"
Yuta answered.
"I thought you liked technology?"
Arthur asked and got a hit on the head from Yuta.
"Even inventors like myself would want to feel the breeze of the countryside."
These two have been friends with Arthur since kindergarten for Todd and the first grade for Yuta. Todd is the one who most likely does anything crazy while Yuta the brains of the group have been known to make inventions before moving to Ireland.  Since then the three have been inseparable from each other.
"So Yu you told me on saturday you invented
something new. So where is it?"
Arthur asked.
"I can't bring it to school since it is a bit explosive."
"Oh you know I like things that go boom"
Todd said with a devious smile.
"Todd Rodriguez, if you ever use my new invention for something like you did at Halloween last year I'm bringing a katana next year."
"Oh come on it's not that bad."
Todd said earning a glare from both of his friends.
"You sure, cause the last time you said that is after you tried to scare Brandon with Yuta's what do you call it again? ."
Arthur said.
"I called it the monster box a, small portable speaker filled with recordings of every monster movie roar and you unexpectedly let Marcus call his entire football team and nearly doomed us you dimwit!"
Yuta explained.
"Hey words hurt ya know."
Suddenly the school bell rings indicating it is time to get class and at the same time the principal gave an announcement.
"Students please be advised, your classes will begin anytime soon so everyone better get going ."
All the students quickly go to their separate classes.
"See you guys at my place after school?"
Todd asked.
"Sure. Okay."
Both Yuta and Arthur answered before the three of them quickly went to class.
