Alecia
It was after the fights and Xavier had paid us yet another visit.
This was becoming really dangerous for him to be here. Boss knows that something's going on and
has been a lot harsher on us when he punished us. He punishes us after every fight now, regardless
of whether or not we showed weakness in the Arena. The rest of the girls had already been through their punishments for today and were resting on their
beds as they tried to sleep off the pain. As soon as the guard returned, it would be my turn. The reason we fight is because we don't want anyone else involved in this and we don't want anyone else to get hurt. It was only a matter of time before Xavier was caught. I couldn't risk that. So, for the past five minutes, I've been trying to convince him that his plan wasn't going to work and that he needed to leave and just forget about us.
"Xavier, please. Just go. This is getting too dangerous," I told him.
Xavier shook his head.
"I'm not about abandon you guys after everything you've been through," Xavier argued.
"But you could get hurt. Boss already suspects something's going on," I told him.
There was a large gash on my arm from my last fight and Xavier seemed to take notice of it as he placed his hands around the wound. I was confused as to what he was doing at first and watched in surprise as his hands and the wound glowed for a moment until the wound was healed and a scar was left behind.
"You're the son of the fourth bloodline," I said in realisation.
He nodded in confirmation.
"Well, one of them," he told me.
Xavier sighed before gently pulling me into a hug.
"Look, I don't care what happens to me. No one should have to suffer like you are," he told me softly
as he held me close. "I want to be able to take at least some of your pain away and I'll continue to do
so until the day you longer need me to.""You're causing me pain by putting yourself in harm's way for me," I told him as tears started coming to my eyes.
I pulled back from his embrace as I placed a hand on his cheek.
"Please, Xavier... Go..." I softly told him.
He shook his head as he started to protest but I interrupted him as I gave him a gentle push in the
direction of the door and a pleading look as I told him "Go." This time a little firmer.Xavier hesitated, as he didn't want to leave me here to be punished, before reluctantly leaving.
I couldn't get him anymore involved in this. It's too dangerous. I couldn't bare to see him hurt or worse killed because of me. I loved him far too much to allow that to happen.
Yes, I admit it.
I have fallen in love with a Rich Man.
Xavier
I sighed as I closed the door to the Resting Room behind me.
I'm not going to deny the fact that I've fallen in love with Alecia. I knew she was going to be punished
soon and it pained me to have to leave her to face it."Xavier," I heard Jacob's voice call out to me and turned to see him walking quickly towards me.
"What's going on?" I asked as I noticed his worried expression.
