Chapter 28

TOMMASO'S POV

I have not heard from Henry in years. I know he hates me but it's for the wrong reason. If only he got my own part of the story. But that's all on the past now.

How could he do something like this? Sabotaging Vincenzo's biggest deal ever. He went for my family and i won't tolerate that, not even for old times sake.

I never wanted this, but he leaves me no choice.

"Hey Papa" my youngest child walked into my home office.

"Cos, how is Luca?"

"Papa you know I'm your son, right? You didn't even ask how i am doing. I mean I've been out of the country for a week now" he frowned playfully.

"I love Luca more" i smirked. He held his chest like i shot him.

"Luca is okay, he wouldn't stop talking about Cognata" he laughed heartly.

"Si, he loves her" i nodded.

"How was your trip?"

"It was really good" we turned our attention to the door, when someone barged in.

"When did you get back? Shouldn't you be back in 3 days?" Cas asked his brother confused.

"Hello to you too dear twin brother, oh i am fine, thanks for asking" Cos smirked at him.

"Cagna" Cas said

"Luca is asleep in his room, i just brought him back from Winnie's."

"See what i told you? He loves her" Cos and i chuckled.

"How is she?" I asked.

"Honestly, not good. She was on the verge of breaking down when i left"

That wasn't the response i expected when i asked that question.

"She wasn't feeling fine and you left her alone?" Cos sat up straight.

"She wasn't alone, Vince was there."

"Then she will be fine." I said confidently, i know Vincenzo loves her a lot so he will take care of her.

"Papa, it looked like they had a huge fight. I have never seen her this mad at Vince" Cas looks really worried from what he witness.

He told us what happened at Winnie's house. I believe my son made a stupid mistake, which might cost him, his relationship.

"She asked him out of the house?" Cos looked shocked. And Cas nodded.

"Don't let this get to your mama. I believe your brother will fix it"

They both agreed with me and we drift into business discussion.

Enzo came inside and shot the door behind him.

"Explain"

"That file had very vital information about the contract Lazio and i were working on achieving. We needed to go through it to make sure everything was set, for the meeting with the potential partners."

"But we couldn't find it. All links came back to you, I shouldn't have but i lost control of my anger when i realised that the file was given to my rival. Now they have it and we lost the deal. This was going to be a dream come true for Lazio and i, but it got messed up"
