"What lesson do you have next?" He asked, I rummaged through my bag, trying to find my timetable as fast as I could.
"Ummm.." My eyes scanned the piece of paper "geography"
"Boringgg" he whined, rolling his eyes "pass me your timetable" he held out his hand, I placed it there as instructed.
"We're in the same lesson" his eyes lit up "come on" he held my wrist gently and pulled me then direction he was going, he let go after a few seconds.
We got to class, everyone was already seated but Cody just burst through the door with confidence.
"Cody... You're late" the teacher spoke, looking up at us through his glasses.
"I was just helping Zara find her class, she's new" I came out from behind him and flashed a smile, then looked up at Cody who was already looking at me, my stomach filled with butterflies.
"Okay. I'll let you off, please take a seat" I followed Cody to the back of the room, sitting on the chair next to him.
The whole way through the lesson I couldn't focus one bit, all I could think of was this boy next to me. I could see him constantly staring at me out the corner of my eye, I kind of wanted to say something.
"Hey" I turned my head, he was looking straight at me "how come you're always staring at me?" I asked, mumbling.
"Because sometimes beautiful girls need to be stared at" he replied with full confidence, he made my heart flutter.
"Cody" I giggled his name.
"You're so cute" he smiled, he was truly gorgeous
"So are you" I smiled back, my hand reached out to his tickling it lightly, playing with his fingers. Touching him gave me a feeling I've never felt before, he made my hands go all numb and tingly.
Finally the lesson was over and it was time for first break, Cody took me to go and sit with his friends. They were nice and very much like my friends back at home, time flew by and it was now the end of my first day at my new school. I was just walking out the exit, searching for my earphones before walking home. A warm hand rested on my shoulder, stopping me, I turned around.
"God, I just can't get rid of you can I?" I chuckled with a cheeky smirk.
"You'd be bored without me" he spoke smoothly.
"Are you walking home? Where do you live?" He asked.
"Yeah and about 15 minutes away, Cherrytree Avenue"
"Me too!" He smiled "let me walk you home" he suggested.
"Okay" I agreed. We were talking non stop the whole way home, I felt so comfortable around him.
"This is my house, so..." He stopped and so did I.
"See you later" I smiled "thank you for today"
"Anytime my love" he winked back cheekily "can I um, get your number?" He asked nervously, scratching the back of his neck.
"Of course" I held out my hand for his phone, he unlocked it and placed it there, I added a new contact - 'Zara😻🔥'
"See you tomorrow" he waved and walked up to his door, I carried on walking to my house which was only a minute away.
I greeted my family and told them about my first day, just as I'd finished taking off my makeup and getting changed, I received a text from an unknown number.

We spoke all night long, until I eventually fell asleep at 11:40pm, I think I'll be dreaming of Cody tonight.
