"This is a mistake. I shouldn't be here." Sidney complained closing her school locker. After the trio reunited— and Stu giving a lame excuse for his bruise, they separated as class shortly started. During the classes that Sidney and Minnie shared together, it was spent whining about being in school. Sidney believed due to the whole situation they should have the choice to miss out school until the killer is caught.
Minnie didn't mind whether they did or did not go. She had a hunch the killer wouldn't show himself in broad daylight. It went completely out of horror movie guidelines that the killer had been following since his first appearance.
"We only have a couple more periods left." Minnie tried to comfort the girl. Sidney sighed leaning against her locker.
"I want you to meet me right here after class, okay, girls?" Tatum instructed sucking on her strawberry lollipop she'd gotten from Stu.
Minnie nodded also leaning against her locker glancing at Stu that'd been checking himself on Tatum's small mirror.
"Hey, I haven't seen Billy around. Is he really pissed?"
Stu's green eyes flickered over to Minnie's giving her a playful wink before answering Sidney.
"Oh, you mean after you branded him the candyman?" He placed the mirror back down, "No, his heart's broken."
Tatum swiftly turned landing a punch to Stu's chest. The girl scolded the boy for his insensitivity towards Sidney's question. Sidney stood uncomfortably at the thought having Minnie place a hand on the back of her shoulder.
Just as the pair seemed to have a relaxing morning, or as relaxing as it could get with stares being thrown their way, a shriek echoed from the down the hall slowly increasing in volume concerning the girls.
A student dressed as the killer had came running up to the pair starling them. Minnie held her arm in front of Sidney as the adolescent fled scaring students further down the hall. Once he was gone, Minnie relaxed and couldn't help but crack a smile. She had to admit this is the perfect opportunity to scare the shit out of people, and Halloween was nearing, so, it's fair game.
Sidney thought otherwise.
"Why are they doing this?" Sidney stared down the student as he exited the hallway. She turned to Stu and Tatum for an answer.
"Are you kidding me? Look at this place. It's like Christmas." Stu beamed.
Tatum whirled around hitting her boyfriend with her lollipop. "Stupidity leak."
Tatum was the first to rush after Sidney. Minnie gave a quick wave to her tall friend before chasing after both girls that quickly made their way down the hall.
Briefly, she managed to see Sidney bump into someone. She's guessing that someone to be Billy. Minnie quickened her pace pulling Tatum back.
"What?" She hissed.
Minnie pointed at the pair. "Let them speak."
Tatum sighed looking up to the clock. She licked her lips bringing her lollipop to her mouth.
"Tell Sidney to head straight to class after speaking with Mr. Perfect."
Minnie nodded watching the blonde make her way to class. The geeky girl stood by the lockers watching them interact. She knew she should give them privacy. Minnie tried to convince herself it was due protectiveness, then again, she will admit she could be nosey at time.
"Understand what? That I have a girlfriend who would rather accuse me of being a psychopathic killer than touch me?" Billy's lowly spoke, a pang of hurt in his voice.
