Chapter 13: Money and Family

I was incapable of love, I had proven that to my self million times.

I hurt those around me,repeatedly I had also shown such features.

Maybe the way Hayden doubted that she would be the best fit to be a leaders wife was what riled me up.

Or the fact that I was getting riled up in the first place.

I had gotten out the study to try and find her but she was no where to be seen.

Soon one of my guards informed me she went to go meet with her sister.

It was around four pm and I was in my study as I heard the doors open.

She was back I guess and as I went to see if it was really her, the foot steps were too heavy to be hers.

I reached for my gun, walking out finding her main guard.

"Where is she?"

A simple sentence but filled with such anger.

"She went to her father's" he said so simply as if he did not leave her alone.

As if she might not be in danger,  as if being my wife does not put her in such danger.

"She had said you gave the command that she could go" she had used me to threaten my own men.

Taking out my phone to call her father to see if she was there.

It rang two times before he picked up.

"Hello Mr Brown is my wife at your house?" i had cut right to the chase, there was nothing funny and friendly about this situation.

"No" he simply said with no care that her husband had no clue where she wondered off and what her current state was.

"And Mr Esposito I would like to Invite You both to brunch and dinner tomorrow" totally throwing away the fact that Navy might be dead somewhere or hurt "We will make it" i could not let him see any weakness or cracks within my Mafia, i had a responsibility.

i had cut the call staring into thin air, this girl would be the end of me, she  was selfish ,pure selfish she had a duty, all she had to do is sit home and play doll, her in this was that simple, but now she is destructing me, maybe this was their plan, that was why he was not bothered that she was possibly missing.

"Sir, she was spotted in SILVER the club owned by Hugo" one of her guards said while walking in. "And her credit card was activated there" another one had simply said.

Hugo had once worked for us to pay off his grand fathers debt in exchange we put him in an elite school. he had fully paid us back a few years back and inherited his fathers club.

Had not heard of him since.

My work phone was ringing on my desk, who could this be.

Had no caller id, "Hello Axel" Hugo.

i had stayed silent. "Your wife is so pretty" he said as my and had formed  fist y knuckles turning white. "Of course she is, I only accept the best" i had to play it cool, no irrational decisions, I ws leader  i had to show i could keep calm under all situations.

" We went to school together, you know that" i did.

"I want five hundred dollars in exchange for her" he said, "such disrespect, Am sure my wife is worth more that that" i had said irrational yes, but i had a plan.

"A million" he said his voice strained "I will double it" i had said, She was worth more than that.

"Meet me in the backroom at my club" i cut the call, one thing i was not was submissive.
