Mina and Hagakure had already gotten their lunch and were waiting for Jiro, Yaoyorozu, and I were about to head over to them, but had gotten stopped by Kaminari and Mineta.
"Yaoyorozu, Jiro, Y/n." Kaminari said from behind us. "Do you need something?" Yaoyorozu asks, turning around as Jiro and I do the same. "Well, I'm sure you know already since you're class rep, but they said the girls have to wear those for cheerleading." Mineta says turning around and pointing to some girls in short cheerleading uniforms with the school's logo on them.
Both Jiro and I flush in embarrassment when we see how short the uniforms are, while the class rep stays calm. "I didn't hear anything about that though..." She mutters suspiciously, "You don't have to believe me! We just heard it from Mr. Aizawa." He stammers out making Denki nod. Jiro and I share a suspicious glance before looking back at the two boys.
Yaoyorozu sighs before nodding "alright I guess.. Thanks for telling me." She mumbles. We walk to the lunch table that Mina and Hagakure were sitting at and take our seats. "Mineta and Denki told me we have to wear cheerleading uniforms for some type of cheerleading battle being held in the afternoon. I don't recall hearing anything of it though.." Yaoyorozu grumbles as she sets her tray down.
"Do we really have to wear those? I mean they're pretty revealing." I say taking a bite out of my food, Jiro nods "I agree with Y/N" she adds. "We'll as class rep, I have to follow instructions given to me, so yes we do." Yaoyorozu states "after lunch, I'll make the uniforms for us, and we'll wear them."
Timeskip:
We were in the locker rooms changing into the uniforms that Momo had made. I was reluctant to wearing it but did so anyway to not upset Yaoyorozu knowing it probably took her a long time to make them. I hid behind Mina as I used the cheerleading pom pom as a shield to hide my body. I hear President Mic saying something over the speaker about our uniforms and knew immediately that Denki and Mineta had lied to us. "Mineta, Kaminari, you tricked me, didn't you?!" Yaoyorozu yelled at them as she waved her hand in the air angrily.
She falls on her knees "Why do I always fall for Minetas schemes, I used creation to make these too.." She says sadly making Uraraka pat her back comfortingly. I back from the girls to go back to the changing rooms and change to my normal uniform but bump into somebody. I turn around hesitantly and blush wildly when I meet Kirishimas eyes. I mentally cry as I try to pull the skirt down and hide as much skin as possible. He begins to look around awkwardly and scratch his neck as his face turned red. "I- um, sorry for bumping into you. I didn't mean to look, not saying that you look bad- I mean you don't look good- shoot that came out wrong I meant-" He stutters before getting smacked in the back of the head by Bakugou and getting dragged away by him.
Mina smiles teasingly as she watched the scene unfold infront of her which makes me shake my head and looking away in embarrassment.
President Mic's voice echos through the stadium once again talking about the next challenge. We gather around the place Ms. Midnight tells us about the challenge and what not. Mina hears something that Kirishima was saying and turns her head to him "Was it a tournament last year?"
Sero turns over to her and Kirishima "It's different every year, but there's a one-on-one tournament each year." He explains making her nod.
"Now, let's draw lots to determine the bracket! Once the bracket is determined we'll have the reactional games then start! You all can choose whether or not you want to participate. I know some of you want to rest. Now-" She begins before getting cut off by someone raising their hand and talking. It was Ojiro, me and him never really talked a lot but he was chill, so I didn't have a problem with him. "Excuse me! I'm... Withdrawing." He says making everyone that heard him gasp.
"Ojiro, why?" Midoriya asks, "This is a rare chance the pros get to see you!" Iida reasons. "I barely remember anything from the last challenge until the end. I think it was that guy's quirk." He answers, now if I really think about it, Ojiro was teamed up with someone from a different class. The boy with wild lavender hair, maybe he was talking about him?
"I know this a big opportunity, but- everyone competed by giving it they're all, I can't be up there without knowing, what really happened." He speaks, "you're worrying too much about it, you should just proceed to the next challenge" "If you're saying that, I didn't do much either." Hagakure and Mina say in hope to make him feel better. Ojiro covers his face with his hand "that's not it... I'm talking about my pride here... I can't... Also why are you wearing cheerleading outfits." He says, mumbling the last part making me remember that I wasn't in the training uniform anymore. Another kid from class B also withdrew for the same reason after Ojiro stops talking.
"What's up with these guys? They're so manly!" Kirishima states. "Ojiro! Shoda! I accept your withdrawl!" Ms. Midnight exclaims cheerfully. "In that case we'll have to move up two people from fifth place cavalry battle." Just then a ginger haired girl from class B starts talking "If that's what's going to happen, we barely did anything the cavalry battle, should be them right?" She asks her teammates making them nod in agreement. "The ones who fought to the top and managed to stay there, Team Tetsutetsu, right?" The silver haired boy from the other day widens his eyes in surprise "Kendo..", she smiles at him "this isn't collusion or anything. It just makes sense."
"Y-you guys!" He exclaims tears running down his face, "So Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki have moved up to sixteen!" Midnight announces, "This bracket is based on the results of drawing." She adds and the screen shows the person we're going against. I look around for my name and see that I'm going against Iida. I grimace, fighting him won't be much of a problem but his speed definitely will be, I'll have to think of something that'll help me take him down.
"Let's leave the tournament for a temporary interlude!" President Mic says as fireworks start firing above us.
FINALLY DONE WRITING THIS CHAPTER YAYY! This took way longer than I thought it would, as you guys already know I update very slowly, so I think I might be updating like once a month because I procrastinate a lot and school started 😭😭. If I have the motivation I will try to update more, and I'm already working on the next chapter! TY SO MUCH FOR CHOOSING TO READ MY STORY, I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU!! 💖💖
