hey guys i know everyone skips authors note but idc.sorry it took me a while to update there's no excuse in just lazy and will try to update more but i'm thinking of doing another story while doing this but idk yet .i know i'm not stopping this one shots yet but let me know if you'd be interested in a jaylor book ??

taylor's pov :

iv been working way too hard in the gym yesterday,i was doing weights and my back,arms and legs fucking kill .it's snowing more than ever so i can't even take my car anywhere but luckily works in walking distance .i only have a short shift so i i'm glad to get home and relax but also happy to see joe and maybe flirt a little .i'm hot ,i know it .i get reminded constantly and even thought at times i can't see it i know it's a true and i can tell joe thinks so ,he isn't the best at hiding it .he's certainly attractive and nice .these are the thoughts flowing through my head as i am walking in the snow to work .i have straightened my hair today and i like the change as it's usually left curly and i'm wearing my usual work outfit but with a hat ,fluffy socks and warm coat on .i have also lost my phone ,not great but i will just get a new one ..i may or may not of had a breakdown about it yesterday.

i step into the bar and a warm air fills my rosy ,cold cheeks .i don't bear the usual noisy atmosphere as i take off my hat and coat .i turn around from the pegs to see the bar deserted .a confused looks crossed over my face as i walk through the bar .i coukd if sworn my shift was now ,plus all the lights are on and the door was open .

suddenly a british voice fills the void ."hey taylor ,i was expecting you come here for this "joe says holding up my phone .i sigh is relief and thank him whilst putting it in my pocket .there's  a comforting silence taken over us as I try and check my phone. I realise that the battery is gone it's probably cause I left it here for a whole day but at least i don't have to  invest in a new one .

"Thank you for this, I cried, and I thought I lost it. I can't live without it which is quite support. You know it's 2023 for God sakes who isn't  obsessed with their phones "I say, chuckling, and Joe laughs afterwards."So where is everyone? I could've sworn my shift was now but I couldn't check my phone so I'm sorry  if i got it wrong "  . I say returning my phone back to my pocket and looking back up at Joe. He was dressed in dark black baggy jeans with a matching black top with a couple buttons and undone .he looks so good right now even then it's just casual .

"No, your shift is today  ur  like 10 minutes early which is good but  under the circumstances of the snow. No one's came . I texted all stars in the staff yesterday, as I probably knew that there be no customers in the snow, but I guess you didn't get your message "he said referring to my phone, has talked away in my jean pocket.

"So why are you even here? if the shops closed do you not want to be at home under warm covers because that's for sure I'm gonna do when I get back "i said and we both laughed .

well, I came here before the snow was too bad, so my car is outside probably covered head to toe in snow, but I just don't think I can drive home in this so I'm just gonna sleep in my office"joe said pointing
behind him at his office .i furried my eyebrows and shook my head continuously.

"No, you can't stay here while it's snowing. Do you not want to warm with a meal or  to be in bed tonight?" i say confused .

" well, the walk to my house is like an hour and I don't know if I can handle in the cold so this is my only option"he said walking behind the  bar and  taking a bottle of whiskey and pouring two glasses .

"Nonsense you can come back to my house is only a 10 minute walk. I have some pasta in the cupboard I can make and I have a guest room anyway, I just couldn't sleep at night knowing that you're in here probably freezing your ass off"i said taking a sip .

"No that's honestly not necessary Taylor I wouldn't want to make you feel like you had to do this" he said as if he was asking a question.of course i wasent gonna let him stay in the cold bar sleeping on the floor .my boss isn't gonna be treated badly .

i care because he's my boss .
it's not cause i care about him .
no,no it's not .it's cause he's my boss .

" go get whatever you need and walk to my house. Don't worry about it it's no trouble"i said finishing off my glass and going to put my coat back on .he came out shortly with a coat and flat hat with gloves on .

when we were walking in the snow a flirting feeling came over me and i'm not sure why but why not peruse it ."my legs hurst so fucking much ,i went to the gym and worked myself a little too hard " i said groaning as we walked ."who knows i may even need a massage by the time we are back "'i said it calmly ,unphased .but inside exploding .i saw a grin come over him and heard a slightly groan which made me smile .

he is my boss .
but ..that dosent mean i can't have some fun .
