Gregory unlocked all the doors carrying the child that was left to him by the murder victim. He opened the television and sat on the sofa. He turned the news channel on and saw the news about the woman who was amputated by 3 men. He cried. He turned on a different channel but it showed the same news until he got annoyed with everything he saw on TV and turned it off. He put the baby on his bed and went to the kitchen and prepared a milk.
The baby suddenly cried causing Gregory to panic and dropped the glass of milk on the floor. He quickly went to the bedroom to check on the baby but it appears to be okay. He got confused and he's pretty sure that it was the baby. He had noticed that the television was turned back on.
"Who's there?! Show yourself!" he shouted. But nobody answered. He quickly turned off the television. Back to his bedroom, the lights flickered many times until it exploded. A strong wind gusted inside his house. He felt the sudden drop of temperature. He checked on the baby but it appeared that it wasn't disturbed by the strange event inside Gregory's house.
"What's going on here!? Who are you? What do you want? I won't give him back to you!"
A man appeared at the front of him and said, "Good night Greg, don't be afraid, it's me, Raphael, and I'm the archangel of the Lord". He suddenly lost his consciousness.
A few hours after, he was awakened by the baby's whining. He saw the man sitting on his bed beside the baby. "Who the hell are you?" asked by Gregory.
"You were destined to keep this little angel. I'm very sorry for what happened to his mother. Luckily, you're there to save this boy." Said by Raphael.
Gregory stood up and prayed. "Oh God! I'm sorry for what I've done. I've done too many things! Horrible things! I've became a long term loser because of my sins, If you're going to take me now please take me with you, I'm ready to take the suffering, I'm ready to be punished."
"I didn't came here to bring you to God. I came here to bring him to you. God has prepared something for you. You were chosen, you need to take care of this boy and make him prepared for the Armageddon."
"There is a war coming between the good and the bad. This boy is one of the offspring of my fallen brothers. He's got an Angel's blood. He'll lead our brothers to the war twenty five years from now. That's all we wanted from you, to take care of one of our heroes, you'll name him "Emanuel". Raphael explained.
"I will do that! I'll do everything! I am trying to do everything in accordance to God's will after what happened to my life. I believe I didn't quite get your name?"
"Again, I'm Raphael, I'm the weapon keeper of the heaven, I am the one who heals, and I'm the brother of Michael and Gabriel. I am hoping to see you on the next twenty five years. May the light be with you" Then the archangel disappeared.
The baby suddenly showed a light and casted a voice, "I did something to hide this boy from the works of the evil. Take care Gregory, if you need help, just pray and I'll be listening."
Gregory cried all night because of an overwhelmed and mixed empathy.
"I don't know if I can do this... I'll do everything to protect you Emanuel.
