Chapter 23

Nandini's pov

Mom left my room, i know Bua has tolerated a lot of things but what to do i can't hurt my family and i know that in this process i'm hurting Manik way beyond repairs. I know if i leave him at this time then he won't be able to believe in love again and maybe he won't be this jolly Manik at all. But i love my family a lot they have done a lot of things for me and i can't hurt them at any cost if it mens to hurt my ownself and sacrificing my love for them too. I hope Maik won't get me wrong. i was in my thoughts when my phone buzzed with a message, it was from Manik. 

M- I WANT TO MEET YOU.!! CAN WE MEET RIGHT NOW..?

I saw his message though i don't want to face him right now but i have to meet him this is my only chance to keep him away and to break up with him. I am really very sorry Manik but i can't go against my family.

I know tha Navya might have told him about the entire thing which i have told him because i know that he would have had a called her to know about my side story. So i texted him back to meet me at the cafe in half an hour.!! I got ready and told mom that i need some notes from sir so i'm going to his house.

Manik was waiting for nandini, after a few minutes he saw her coming., She was looking so beautiful as always. He stood up and move towards to hug her, but she showed him her hand in disagreement., he was hurt by this behavior of her.!!!

N- Why did you call me here.?

M- I need to talk to you.!!

N- Manik if you are going to ask me about our break up and about me getting married to Aryaman then let me be very clear to you., Manik i need to secure my future and for that i think getting married to him is going to be the best decision of my life.

Manik smiled faintly. 

M- Sure Nandini i will not ask anything about all of it. I am here to tell you that I'm leaving, so before leaving i wanted to meet you and that is why i have called you here. 

Anyways what would you like to have..?

N- Nothing.! I'm getting late as i have to leave for some work.

M- Sure. Umm Nandini can i say something.?

Nandini nodded her head.

M- I am sorry for everything, i am really very sorry for hurting you all the time..!!! And i promise you that i will never come on your way ever in my life. Goodbye.! Take care of yourself and make sure that you are happy wherever you are. 

Saying this manik stood up and was about to go out but stooped in his way by listening her voice.

N- Manik can we for the last time go to your beach house.?

Manik sadly nodded his head and they both left for the beach house.

Beach house.!!

Nandini went at the backyard while manik went in the kitchen to make coffee for both of them. After 15 minutes Manik came with tow mugs in his hand, he handed one of the mug to Nandini and sat besides her but making sure that he is a sitting a bit far away from her. 

N- Manik can you please hug me.?

She said looking blankly at the water.

Manik without saying anything pulled her towards him and gently pull her in his embrace.

N- Manik i don't want to do this. I don't want you to go, I don't want you to lose hope for me, I don't want you to give up easily on me. I love you manik i really do, but the situation is not in my hands. I want my future to be with you but i can't do think about that. Please Manik i don't have that guts so can you please fight for our love..?

She said looking at him. He looked at her with confused look on his face.

N- Khushi bua was in college when she fell in love with a guy, she made him meet our family they all agreed because she was the only daughter of the house and apple of the eye. She went to her college trip when he tried to rape bua with his friends but luckily she got escaped from there and after that incident she went all silent. After a month my family got to know about this and she tried to take her life many time but luckily one or the other person saved her. So this is the main reason why my my family is quite against of me getting married to a guy of my choice.
And this is why I behaved rudely with you after our fight. I don't want my family to hate you. Manik I'm really very sorry i can't be with you, i know that this time you won't be able to mend your broken pieces but Manik i don't have a choice, my family have done a lot for me and this is my time to payback him. I can't hurt them they have always loved me like there own daughter. 

M- Its okay Nandini, do what you want and don't worry i will be there with you all the time. No matter what the situation is i won't leave your side. And i promise this to you. My happiness lies in you Nandini and i can do anything for your happiness. 

N- So you don't have any problem with me getting married to some other guy.

M- Problem hai Nandini but i can understand your point Nandini, sach kahu toh gussa toh bahaut aayega tumhe kisi or ke saath dekh ke but i know family is your priority and i am with you don't worry. main janta hu ke tumhari khushi tumhari family me hai or meri tum se. So if you are happy with this then let it be thsi way.

N- Soch lo Manik., next time tumse milugi toh i will be Mrs. Aryaman Murty.!!!

Manik smiled faintly and said...

M- I will deal with that too Nandini.

N- Promise me Manik you won't hurt yourself and you will always be there with me.

M- I promise Nandini i will be there with you in your every step of life. 

Come Its late i will drop you home.

N- Manik can i kiss you for the last time.?

M- I won't be able to control myself so i'm sorry. I am waiting for in the car.

Saying this he left from there. Soon Nandini came out and sat inside the car. 

N- Manik you okay na..?

M- How can you expect me to be okay Nandini.. It will take time but don't worry soon i will be okay. You just take care of yourself. 

N- I am sorry once again Manik.

M- Nandini now please don't take stress be happy and chill i said na that i am okay. so don't feel guilty again and again.

N- Thank you so much Manik.

Manik dropped her and went for his meeting.
