Chapter 24

The meeting went well for Manik. Then he got call from Nandini's dadu asking him to meet him by 3 p.m in the evening.

He wind up his all work and around 2 pm he left for Nadini's home. He reached at her place in an hour. Vishambhar welcomed him.

V- Come Manik. have a seat. 

He sat on the sofa besides Romi and Harsh.

V- Manik the thing is day after tomorrow Nandini is getting engaged with Aryaman so i want you to look after all the arrangements of the functions and due to some personal reasons they want the wedding to be held in next fifteen days so you have to take care of the arrangements of Nandini's wedding. 

Manik was taken a back by Vishambhar's words but soon he composed himself and agreed for the events. Shivi saw this decided to talk to him in person, soon they finished their conversation and Manik took his leave from there he went out and was about to sit in his car but was stopped by Shivi.

S- Manik stop i need to talk to you.

M- I know shivi what you want to talk but there is nothing which we can do now.!! So let it be this way only.

S- Are you mad Manik? I mean how can you give up so easily on her..? You love her idiot how will you are going to do all this things..?

M- Honestly Shivi even i don't want to give up but the person whom i love the most is not willing to fight for us. She is happy with this marriage so let it be. I had a talk with her in person and she said that she really want to do this just for the sake of her family and i really don't want to hurt her at any cost. 

S- Will you be able to do this..? How will you see her marrying other guy..?

M- I don't know Shivi. i don't know how will i survive? i don't know anything, right now i know only one thing and that is she is happy with all this and she wants me to be with her in the situation. And i will do that.

S- You know what Manik i have never thought of you being such a mature and sorted person., but still manik i really want you to fight for her, i will not let happen, you just what i do....!!! I know who is going to do stop all this..!!!! 

M- Tum sach me meri help kr skte ho..?

S- Of course.! i know Nandini she is doing all this just for the sake of family and trust me on this Manik agar tum dono ko bhagana bhi pade na toh hum ready hai.

M- Thank you so much shivi but iam scared what if dadu come to know about this and what she abandon her completely.!!!

S- You don't worry about that manik., or rahi baat baki sab bado ki toh don't worry Ronit or Rohit bhai hai unke liye or sab jante hai ke bua ke saath jo hua uske baad agar hum kisi bhi hum nandini ki love marriage ke liye support me hai toh we turst that person a lot.  

M- Thank you so much shivi. 

Manik gave him a brotherly hug and thanked him again for his favor.

In the evening Ronit called Mihika to meet him out in the garden area.

Mihika got worried and she ran to him and saw him sitting on the swing and was waiting for her. She sat besides him but Ronit was not aware of her presence, she got little worried and called out his name.

Mi- Roni baccha kya hua hai tum kaha khoye hue ho..?

Ron- Maa can i ask you something..?

Mi- Haan bacche bol kya baat hai..?

Ron- Maa apne kbhi apne career ke barre me kyu nhi socha shaadi ke baad..?

Mi- Aaj suddenly yeh kyu puch rahe ho tum..?
