Chapter- 4 Why Am I Even Here

After class ended me and Hyunjin walked together to the cafeteria. Not so far away, we saw the rest of the group waving at us, so we went towards them but as we were going, I saw all the girls staring at me AGAIN. Like what have I done?

I then looked at all of them and saw every girl was dressed all girly and were gossiping about how I looked like a boy... I then noticed I was the ONLY tomboy in the school and I felt embarrassed knowing everyone were saying mean things about me. Hyunjin noticed the frown on my face.

HYUNJIN: Hey Lynn? What's wrong?
Me: Nothing, just forget about it. U wouldn't understand
HYUNJIN: Hey, it's fine, u can tell me anything I promise I won't judge.

He said in such a soft voice while keeping his hand placed on my shoulder. I felt my face become warm after he said that. I felt comfortable around him.

HYUNJIN: AWWWW! Is someone blushing 😉😉
Me: Ayo what? Ew no I would never ur just seeing things... go get ur eyes checked.

Soon then I tripped and fell on the floor and hurt my elbow.

HYUNJIN: I guess u r the one who should get ur eyes check *chuckles*

He then helped me get up while I was just totally embarrassed.
Then some random girl started LAUGHING and and said,

"Aww is the new girl embarrassed? Or should I say new BOY"
Every one started laughing, the joke wasn't even funny but everyone in the cafeteria started laughing except the new friends I made. I was pissed, but I guess Hyunjin was even more pissed, cause he left my hand and started shouting at everyone.

HYUNJIN: EVERYONE SHUT UP! JUST BECAUSE SHE IS A TOMBOY OR NEW, DOESN'T MEAN U GET TO PICK ON HER. She is minding her business AND SO SHOULD ALL OF U MOTHER FUCKERS!!!

I was shocked seeing this side of Hyunjin. I never expected this.. no one ever stood up for me, cause I used to stand up for myself and my friends. After that everyone just looked at Hyunjin in shock and just turned around and shut their mouths.
I was honestly really happy. For the first time ever someone stands up for me.

After wasting 15 minutes of our time, we went to where Chan and the others were sitting. After reaching there Jisung starting laughing.

Me: Ayo Han, wanna get punched?
Jisung: Hey what did I do? Anyway I see u and Evelynn are getting along.

He said to Hyunjin while smirking. I saw it amd gave him a death stare, which made him stop.

MINHO: AYO I SAW THAT!
Me: saw what?
MINHO: That stare.. That's my thing! U better stop or I'll air fry u
Me: ........
HYUNJIN: Yeah... he's scary sometimes 😅. Anyway yeah me and Evelynn are getting along pretty well, she's fun to be with.
And in art class she painted a dog and it looks so gud it looks so much like Kkami!!! Hey Lynn, u got that painting with u?
Me: Yeah hold on.

I reached into my bag and realized I forgot to close it. Then that same mean girl called at me.

Mean girl: Hey new kid, looking for this? 😏

She said as she was holding the painting I made, shaking it side to side and smirking.

Me: HEY GIVE IT BACK! I WORKED HARD ON IT something I know u wouldn't do.
Mean girl: So ur here trying to insult me?
Me: So does that mean ur insulted?
Mean girl: No! Why would I be?
Me: If u weren't insulted how do u know I was tryna insulted u huh? ANYWAY GIVE IT BACK ITS. OT URS!
Mean girl: U want it? Come and get it!

I went storming at her while she just standing and smirking at me. As I got closer SHE TORE MY PAINTING INTO PIECES RIGHT INFRONT OF ME and the idiots started laughing again and started roasting me

Me:  no No NO NO NO! MY PAINTING *crying*

Hyunjin and the rest came running towards me. Everyone were trying to comfort me. But Hyunjin just stood with a red face.
He went to that girl and she started flirting with him, but Hyunjin SLAPPED HER in the face SO HARD she fell down.

Mean girl; Ouch, Hyunjin, my baby, why would u do that?
HYUNJIN: U FOOL! Wasn't what I said earlier enough for u to shut ur filthy ass and mind ur own shit? Don't u ever touch her or any one of us or else I might break one of ur bones next! Hope u have an extra pair of pants cause u look like ur about to shit urself right now, "mEliSsA".

Hyunjin then glared at her while she ran crying and everyone started laughing at her. She deserved it. We all went to sit and eat something.

HYUNJIN: Don't worry Evelynn, hopefully that hard slap was enough to teach her a lesson, I'm sorry she tore ur painting by the way, I loved it so much.

Me: Thank u so much Hyunjin, and thank u so much guys, no one ever stood up for me and this is the first time that someone did. Thanks for comforting me and sorry u guys didn't get to see the painting.

BANGCHAN: No problem Lynn, u didn't deserve that, we r glad to have u in our group <33

After Chan said that every one came in for a hug and it was soo heart warming... I guess mom was right about me making great friends here.

MINHO: That girl, Melissa, is the school bully almost everyone here fears her, so if she does anything to u, we will be here for u, but u gotta be for us too.

Me: Of course I will, u guys are amazing it would be so wrong if I didn't help u guys the way u did for me.

Seungmin: Damn that's the first time in a long time I've seen Minho being so caring to someone other than Jisung.

MINHO: Shut up Seungmin or I'll air fry u.

Seugmin: Yep, the old air fry Minho ain't going anywhere, I see.

After that we all got something to eat, and after that we all went to class. I have math class now. The worst. Hopefully this won't be as bad as break was. I wonder if any one of the other members r in math class tooo.
