*Jaela POV*Nole directs me to his Honda Civic. Its very cute. I hop in the passenger seat and Kalie hops in the back.
The whole ride was very silent. Nole didn't seem very shy till now. I wonder what has changed?
Before I know it we are at school. Kalie gets out and bolts to the cafeteria. I sit in for a minute and Nole comes around and opens the door for me.
"Thanks." I say and he nods.
"Are you ready to have fun tonight?" He asks.
"Yeah, can't wait!" I say and we start to head towards the cafeteria.
Nole hands the guy our tickets and we walk in. I look around and it's so beautiful.
We head towards the stage and just slightly dance around together.
"Have you been to a dance like this?" Nole asks.
"Actually no. I have never been to a masquerade ball. It is really fun though. Not knowing who you are near and just have to guess." I say.
"Yeah. Its way different from others. But I kind of like it." Nole states.
"You a good dancer?" I ask raising my eyebrows.
"Not at all." he says and blushes.
I grab his hands and sway them back and forth with mine. We start to a get a rhythm. He spins me out them pulls me back in. Smooth.
The song Bad Blood by Taylor Swift comes on. ME AND MIKAYLA ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONG.
Mikayla comes charging at me. I look at Nole with pleading eyes. He nods his head and laughs.
We start to scream and shout and have a blast while singing it.
There soon is a big huddle around us watching us dance. We laugh. Mikayla grabs a random guy off the sidelines and starts to jump around.
He soon follows her lead and starts to dance to. My eyes gaze to Nole. He is just standing in the middle of the circle looking bored. Now I feel bad.
I push my way through to get to him. He looks at me in shock and I pull him to the floor.
I jump up and down to make him get the message that he should too. We laugh so hard. That was the best dance ever.
"Mikayla, do you know the guy you just man handled and started to dance with?" I ask.
"Of course not! What's the point of coming to a school dance alone if you are not going to have some fun with people you will probably never speak to again?" She asks. I shrug and laugh.
After the song finishes, a slow one comes on. Little Things by One Direction comes on.
I scoot closer to Nole. He puts his hands on my hips and I put mine on his shoulders.
We sway back and fourth. I rest my head on his shoulder. I notice his gaze on this girl and a guy dancing. He starts to frown. He has been looking at her all night. I back away from him.
"Why do you keep looking at that girl? Do you like her?" He just stares at me blankly. "You could have told me. I would have helped you. But now I won't." I say.
The food table is right behind us. Kalie is right behind me holding a pie. I smirk and shove it in his fat face.
"Hope you have a good night." I say sweetly and blow a kiss and walk away confidently. Everyone makes room for me.
