Chapter 17

*Emyle POV*

"Come on E! Do Jaleas makeup already so you can get ready!" Mikayla whines.

Mikayla is wearing her yellow crop top tucked into her white skirt with pink and yellow flowers at the bottom and beige balerina slippers.

I go over and turn Jeala in her chair so she faces me. She looks bright today. Almost.....approachable.

I start off with bright red lip stick. Then I put on mascara with eyeliner doing the cat eye effect. I take some jewels out of my kit and put them on the edge of her eye to stick. It brightens her face.

"You look exactly like how Emyle would if she were in this outfit." Sarina says examining Jaela.

Sarina decided to wear some of my clothes because she forgot her own. She has on my 'I'm cooler on the internet' shirt with white jeans and some flip flops.

I decide to side braid her hair because that is what I would do if I were in this outfit. The braid looks pretty plain. I take fake flowers I bought and stick Then in the cracks of her braid. She looks amazing.

"You look amazing Jaela!" Kalie says.

"I look like I want to jump in a field full of dandelions." Jaela says flatly.

"You look so perfect!" I screech. Smiling so wide.

"Now it's your turn." My smile fades.

She hands me her outfit of the day. It's a black long sleeve crop top with black jeans with rips at the knee. With my own black ankle boots. I don't look half bad.

Jalea is straightening my hair. I part it sort of in the middle.

"Time for school!" Kalie shouts. She wears a white oversized shirt with black jeans and black ankle boots.

We all get into my car and drive. It's was a short drive and we are all on our phones except me because I'm the driver.

We pull in and I park in my usual space. All eyes dart to us once we walk out. What did we do?

Everyone looks at me an Jaleas new swap of clothing. I almost forgot about the whole thing. We head to our tree and sit down.

"Why is everyone staring at us?" I ask.

"Maybe because of the fire alarm thing, your clothes, the new guy?" Mikayla says.

"We really need to stop giving people something to look at." Kalie states. I just nod my head.

"Hey guys! We have assembly today in third period. Do you guys know why?" Bryan asks walking over to us with Matt and Adam trailing behind.

"It to tell us how a good school we are and upcoming events." Sarina jumps in.

Matt comes my way. I get up and pull on my backpack because the bell is about to ring. He looks at me confused.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing. I just didn't think you would wear all the same color. You say you look dull when you do." Matt says looking down. I laugh at his remark.

"Me and Jaela swapped clothing. I have to wear her outfit for the day and she wears mine." I say. He looks at me relieved I wasn't mad at him for pointing out his remarks about my clothing.

"Come on, let's head to class." Matt says putting his hand out so I can grab it.

I accept it and we start to walk towards our locker. I grab my books and head to class. I really hate how everyone is staring at me.
