*Ainslee POV*I wake up slowly opening my eyelids. my eyes soon are hurt by the lighting in the room.
My head moves. This is definitely not a pillow. Its too hard to be a pillow. It feels like a wall. WHY IS IT SO HARD?
I look up to see a sleeping Adam. Oh! I forgot about the lock in. I pull my head up to see Mikayla and Emyle look at me in shock. I give them a confused look.
I look up to see a lot of people looking and staring at us. They are all surrounding us. What the?
"What do you want?" I say. I am not in the best mood when I see strange people staring at me.
A cheerleader off to the side clears her throat. I recognize her. She is April.
"You guys fell asleep last night when the principal told us not to. Then when it was about 2 last night, the fire drill went off and you guys didn't wake up. So now the principal is upset and told us when you all wake up to tell you to go to his office."
I stare at her as if she is an alien. What the heck? How did we manage to fall asleep during a fire drill? I am so confused.
"If there was a fire, why didn't we get burn to the crisp?" I ask groggily.
" Because some idiot pulled a prank." A random girl answers.
"Why didn't anyone wake us up?" I ask.
"We tried but you guys wouldn't budge. We only tried you and Adam and you wouldn't so the principal told us to leave you alone." A football player answers.
I turn to look at everyone around me. They are all asleep. I don't not feel like waiting.
"Get up!" I scream. I run to everyone and they don't budge. We are on the floor of my locker.
I run towards it and people make way for me. I open up the locker and pull out my bull horn. I run over to my friends and press the button. Everyone covers their ears. I am used to it.
They all jolt up and look at me. They seem not to notice everyone around us and just flip me off. I then turn towards our crowd. They all seem confused.
"We are all lazy as heck and need to learn to be lighter sleepers. Or the school can get a lower siren. Anyways, lets go down to the principals office right now!" I scream.
They all follow my orders and head towards the main office. I put my hand on the door. Here goes nothing. I say to myself and open the door.
*Jaela POV*
We all walk into Mr. Luffman's office and he stares at us in response. I go and lay my body in the corner. I am still a little tired.
"You guys are in a lot of trouble." He states.
"We are being blamed for doing an innocent mistake of not waking up. There is no reason for us being here." I state annoyed.
"Welcome back to my office Ms. Jaela. Long time no see" I just smirk.
"Hasn't been that long John. I was here Monday remember?" I say.
So, I may be a cheerleader and get good grades, but it doesn't mean I obey the rules.
I think this school is boring. Everyone obeys the rules. If there was no one ere to test the rules, how would anyone know they even existed?
So I casually pull pranks around school. I make most people laugh by my ideas. So at least I make some people happy.
"You all slept last night when I told you clearly not to. You slept through a fire drill, and didn't wake up till 7 in the morning. You have some explaining to do.
He looked at all of us. They are all people who never get in trouble so they are not used to this place. I guess I have to be the spokes person.
I walk over to his coffee machine and brew up a cup. I then start to open a sugar packet and plop one in.
"Jaela how many times do I have to tell you! You are not allowed to make yourself coffee I my office."
"Don't worry this is for you." I say innocently opening another pack of sugar.
"You know I only take one pack of sugar." He says irritably.
"Oh! I'm sorry! Well can't let this go to a waist! Good thing I like two packets in the morning." I say taking a sip.
I turn around to see all of my friends staring at me I shock. I just laugh. I go to his closet and take out a blanket I stashed in there so when he makes me stay in his office for hours, I can sleep.
"John, we are the laziest people you will ever meet. And don't blame us for sleeping through the fire drill. It's so quiet no one can hear it. Don't blame it on us that this school is cheap."
"First of all, do not call me by my first name. And second, it is not my fault that when you were rewiring the schools fire alarm to go off before your final in math last year, you cut the wrong cord and made the alarm go off silently from then on. We can't afford to replace it."
"How many times do I have to say sorry for that! So are we in trouble or not? I need to get home." I say.
"You are not in trouble. But I expect to not to see you in this room again. Stop getting yourself into trouble."
"Come on guys." I say and motion for them to et up. And they do, "John, don't count on me not coming back. I'm afraid you will miss me too much." I say and walk out.
John hates me. I cause this school way too much trouble. But that's why I do what I want. No one in this school breaks the rules. So I am the only person here who actually makes him full with fury. So I make sure that he knows he can't control me.
"You totally saved us back there!" Mikayla says to me.
"I can't believe you talked to him that way." Adam says.
"Guys, I am there every week. That is like my second home. I do whatever I want in there."
