Coming back

The dimly lit room was only lighted by the reflection of the moon, Id been sleeping in the on call room for quite some time. After Derek left I fell apart. Nothing was the same anymore, and it pained me to go into an OR and not see him, or to even walk in the halls and not see him. But I had to realize he's gone and not coming back.

Months had gone by with not even a letter from him. (Not that I expected one) so eventually I gave up.

This morning I walked into work and I was greeted by Lexi "Hi! " I smile at Lexi "hey" Lexi told me about how her and Jackson (my ex) we're hooking up. We both got on the elevator and went into the residents locker room. I hadn't been to work in months. So this felt different. It felt like my first day of my internship all over again. Yang looked and me and scoffed.

Alex nodded to me, not all of them were to happy to see me. At least I had lexie. We both changed into scrubs, and I went to see if I can get onto someone's case. Robbins had someone on her case but she let me on.

I glance over to the surgery board and I couldve sworn I saw the name "Derek Shepard" my heart started beating 10 times faster and I turn to face Bailey. "Is Shepard coming back? " she looked at me and nodded her head as if she was trying to focus on something.

I suddenly heard a familiar voice down the hallway, and he stopped. We both locked eyes for a minute then he kept moving.
