Chapter 1

"What?"

"Think about it, you'll get sent to a better place, where no one will make your life miserable," Uma says as she tries to convince you to go with 'those nasty four' to Auradon Prep.

"But what about you? I don't want to leave you here," Ursa tells her.

"I can handle it here in the Isle, unlike you, and with Mal gone, I'll reclaim her turf." Uma comes closer and holds Ursa's hands in hers. "As much as I would love to go with you, that blasted crown prince didn't choose me. Now, since I cannot convince your good heart to help me take over the world, what you can do for me is to bring me, Harry, and Gil there too."

Ursa breathes deep and smiles at her sister. "I can do that."

"Then let's go fix your bag and meet the others before they come to take you away from me."

Once they finish stuffing Ursa's bag with her belongings, they go outside their room only to hear wailing.

"Our little Ursa is leaving us!" It was Harry.

Gil is patting his back. "There, there, it's going to be okay."

Harry swats his arm away. " You know, I'm not really that sad about it. It's all about the dramatics," he says while gesticulating, but one can see that his eyes are a little watery.

The sisters walk through the back doors of the Chip Shoppe. Ursa waves at Harry and Gil.

Harry goes to hug her. "Our little Ursa has a way out of this hellhole, and she's going to leave us behind!" Gil joins the hug, and Harry breaks the hug and swats at him. Gil continues to hug Ursa.

Ursa snickers at their fighting and Harry's dramatics. "You know I have no choice. I would bring you three if I could."

"She would, and I even had to convince her to go," Uma says.

Harry points his hook at her. "You?! You convinced her to go?!"

Uma silences him with simply a glare. "While I love having my little sister with me, I know she would be better off on the other side of the sea."

Ursa remembers a time when they weren't this affectionate with her. It was before she cut her wrists. She remembers the blood and the relief at losing her wretched life, but that turned into horror when she saw Uma looking at her. She remembers Uma's screams at the crew, asking them to help her stop her bleeding. Once her wrists were bandaged, at the prompting of Uma, Ursa told them of all that led her to attempt to end her life: from her general experiences at the Isle to their mom and Mal pushing negative thoughts into her head. Many things changed that day: Uma antagonized their mom, Mal, and her crew even more, and the Lost Revenge became more open and affectionate with her. Ursa became their 'little Ursa' and became the person receiving the most amount of love on the Isle.

Ursa doesn't let her thoughts bother her any longer and goes back to their conversation.

"She'll be with Mal and her crew and those nasty Auradonians; who will protect her from them?" Harry squabbles.

"Considering that we're on the land of villains and they're on the land of good, I bet they have drastically fewer bad people there." Ursa contends.

"Captain, the Auradonian car is at the entrance," a crewmate says.

"Well, it's time for you to go. Harry, get her bag." At that, Uma leads the four of them towards the entrance.

Harry puts her bag in the trunk with the others. They can't see through the tinted windows of the car, but they know Mal and her crew are in there. At least, Ursa, Uma, and Harry do. Still, Uma hugs Ursa, then Gil joins, and, lastly, Harry joins the group hug.

"Take care of yourself, little Ursa," Harry tells her.

"And if you can, make sure to bring us there, too." Uma reminds her.

Ursa nuzzles into the hug and says, "I don't know how to live without you guys."

"You promised you would never try it again," Gil says with his earnest eyes shining at Ursa.

"If you break your promise, I will do everything in my power to cross the barrier and the sea to scold you," Harry says.

"You'll learn to live without us, Ursa," Uma says like she believes it wholeheartedly.

With that, they break the group hug, and Ursa steps into the limousine. Silence ensues, and the car moves. Looking back, Ursa sees the crew wave at her.
