Chapter fifty seven-"student teaching"

Hey guys how's your day going I hope it's good I love all yall I went to a bigger town yesterday and my anxiety was through the roof probably because I never get out this scene I hate so much is getting closer how do you think Awill take this big scene

   We Sat on the lunchtabls me Maggie and Beth Beth was holding Judy while Carl sat next to Athena next to me eating some noodles we had witch surprisingly tasted fine without anything on them

  "So how was your fence training"Maggie asked Alexxa who just put her spoon down Carl quickly looked at her as if he didn't know about it"It was stressful aunt Maggie how did yall do it for so long"She shruged with a frown

"Something we had to do to live"Alexxa looked down at her bowl I knew she wished she had more experience then what she had I sware I noticed Carl slip his hand on her thigh witch I didn't really care about however Rick needs to give Carl the talk

I bit my lip and looked away from them"Is it easier now"Maggie sighed and looked down hand on her belly"It is once you get practice"Alexxa nodded slowly I looked down and started to think about Daryl

He's so far away from us and I was scared I was so scared of this big spot I have a gut feeling though and I didn't like it one bit"My dad seemed to always have it down"I looked up at Alexxa"Thats because he was different he was used to being in the woods"I said with a smile

  I took a bit of my food"Im gonna go take a shower"I sais getting up with Taking my bowl I walked over to the bin and put my bowl in it before walking over to the showers when I got there I started to undress When I stepped in to the cold water I closed my eyes at thr feeling

I was so stressed out today I always was when Daryl was away especially when Daryl was out searching for the governor but it was not as much because I knew Michonne was there with him I know Glenn's with him now I still feel so stressed out

Especially with Bob there he's knew he doesn't know how to deal with all this how to do in a group and he might get my boys killed I put in my shampoo scrubbing at it I had to remember I'm not the only one who needs a shower so I can't be lost in my thoughts wasting water

Now I think about it Bob told me something the other day about alcohol that I forgot to tell Daryl about it seems like he really likes that stuff and I hate myself for forgetting to tell Daryl when u was done with my hair I started on my body

I sighed when I was finished and stepped out not Taking any time to get dressed so nobody walks in and sees me I pulled up my pants I wonder if Ricks back yet from checking the snairs Carl was worried about him going out there

When I was fully dressed I walked out I had to catch My lesson with Carol in the library it's not kids stuff as Carl thinks we're teaching them the kid how to fight but we're not telling Carl cuz we're afraid he's gonna tell Rick

   I walked into the library and Carl was already reading"The children fastend their eyes upon their bit of candle"I walked into the room all eyes went on me Before I sat next to Carol"and watched it melt slowly and pitilessly away"

  I wonder what book she was reading"Saw the inch of wick stand alone at last"I licked my lips and looked down when Patrick stared at me"saw the feeble flame rise and fall climb the thin tower of smoke"I watched as John waved us goodbye who was the other adult in the room

  And that my friend was are sign to start are knife training"Climb the thin tower of smoke linger at its top a moment and then....."Once John was out of the room she slammed the  book closed while Carol started to ger ready i stood up as well taking out my sword"Ma'am should I take watch"

  Carol turned back at Lucas one of the kids"Yes Luke you do that"He got up and ran to the door"Today"Carol said taking out the kifes"We are talking about kifes and Athenas sword hiw ro use them"Carol said sitting doen in front of the knifes

"How to be safe with them and how they could save your life"Ma'am may I be dismissed"I looked up at Patrick confused"What is it"I asked making him look at me"Im not feeling vary well"I sighed and looked over at Carol"sometimes you're gonna have to fight through it"

I was thankful for Carol taking that for me I have a soft spot for kids and would have sent him on his way"what If you wind up out there alone"Carol said as the other kids looked at Patrick"you just give up because your feelings bad"Patrick had a frown on his face

"No its just I don't want to yack on somebody"All the kids close to him moved to the side and that's when I gave in"Go ahead Patrick when your done come back"I said with a soft smile he nodded and started to sprint away when I looked back over at Carol she gave me a knowing look and I sighed with a shrug

"Okay today were gonna learn how to hold a knife"The kids leaned forward with interest"how to stab and slash and where to aim"Lizzie looked over at me"I will be teaching you how to use a sword witch easier then a knife if I do have to say...."

I slowly sat there with fear Looking up at Carol as he emerged from one of the bookshelfs"please don't tell you father"Carol said before I could Carl didn't take long to rush out of the room I stood up faster then I ever have"Ill talk with him"I said running out of the room

"CARL!"I yelled trying to catch him"Carl please"I begged catching up to him I grabed his shoulder softly and turned him around"Why didn't you tell me!"He said angrily I sighed and rubbed at my eyes"you were gonna tell Your dad"I said with a shaky breath

"You know I have to!"I nodded slowly"But what hurts the most is that you keep it from me your supposed to tell your sons stuff like this"I bit my lip with a sigh"Does Alex's know"I shook my head I felt guilty"I just wanted to teach those kids how to survive like we did"he nodded but still a hint of anger in his eyes

"I have to tell him but next time tell me about this please don't keep anything from me mom"I sighed but nodded before I pulled him into a hug"Im sorry son"He nodded into my shoulder"My dad's back by the way"I nodded with a sigh"wares Alexxa"I asked looking fown the hall

"She's with Maggie she wanted to know how to sow so Maggie's teaching her"I nodded and but my hand on his back"Lets go then bud"He nodded and we walked down the hallway I bit my lip I didn't know how Carol was gonna take the fact that Carl's gonna tell his dad but I can't tell him not to be honest with his dad that's just wrong
