the desert

Garnet, Pearl and Pink had been walking in the desert for 2 days now.

They had not yet seen any sign of life here at all except for a small cactus near the boarder

although it was still winter, the desert was burning hot.

But it was better to them then stay in homeworld.

Even garnet found this better. Still, they all somehow missed somebody.

Pearl missed her sisters, garnet her mothers... and Pink? well, she didn't really want to believe it but she missed yellow and blue.

Yes, they were were bad towards Pink but... she missed them regardless.

And she felt even more awful after having heard their screams.

Pearl felt sorry that her sisters now had to deal with angry diamonds...

Garnet had told her mothers that she would leave and after a small argumant they supported her and said their goodbyes

but Pearl and Pink didn't have that luck.

And so, they continued to walk for hours and hours untill....

with a dump thud, pearl fell to her knees, completely out of breath and sweating

She wasn't used to having to stay in the sun for hours.

she had gotten a very bad sunburn by the look at how red her pale skin looked

Pink and Garnet rushed to her side, worried looks on their faces

"are you ok?!" Pink asked, kneeling down to pearl

"yeah... I just... need a moment to..." Pearl tried to say but fainted right into Pink

Pink and Garnet exchanged worried looks

"Uhm... I think we need to put her legs up... at least that's what I was told in my training..." Pink quietly spoke

"But where?" Garnet asked

and she did ask rightfully. around them was just sand.

then suddenly, pink had an idea.

longstory short, Pink sat on the ground, Pearls legs spread on her shoulders.

Garnet had to laugh a little since well, that position looked gay as shit.

Truth be told, all three of them were infact, gay as shit

only that Pink was pan and garnet Aromantic.

so basically the only one who was actually fully gay was Pearl but she was so gay she could count for three

so as garnet snickered pink had to blush. hard.

looking back, maybe it hadn't been such a great idea to let pink do that. But garnet wouldn't have traded this amazingly funny view for anything

They continued sitting there in silence until there was a loud noise in the distance

"What was that?!" Pink asked frightened

"I- I don't know" Garnet said, just as scared as Pink, who had now brought her hands up to pearls feet to put them off of her shoulders if it came to a fight

but then again... what could they be fighting? They were the only being in this whole desert, right?

The noise didn't start again.

So they stayed there, ready to fight someone, for another couple of minutes until Pearl began to move again

She groaned as she slowly brought her hand up to her head, trying to shield herself from the sun
