"Biggest regret"

My biggest regret is going out last night knowing I have work the next morning.
I get drunk very fast and I don't even know who took me home last night or who I was even with.
My work starts at 8:30 and I'm still in bed...

I work in fashion marketing in Madrid which took me ages to get into. It's been my dream job ever since I was 13 and I've finally achieved it after 8 years.

I thought I'd never get it as I'm so socially awkward and can't ever keep a conversation going but I think it's going good so far as I've been doing it for 2 years.

Everyone's proud of me and I couldn't of been more grateful.my ex boyfriend actually got me into it he said "small steps are better then no steps" and I guess it payed off.

My ex boyfriend and I dated for 3 years and broke up only a year ago but I've learned to get over it as we're both working hard on our careers.
I can't lie, I did go through a weird stage when we broke up I couldn't eat properly and I would never leave my house for any reason.

The break up was mutual so no one did anything but it still hurt for the both of us.

I finally got to work and realised I'm late by 4 HOURS.

"Jaeda, your late" -my work manager calls
"I know I'm sorry it won't happen again" -I say walking past her in a hurry

I got to my computer and logged on while it was loading I scrolled through insta to see if there's anything I missed from last night.
Only my best friend posted from last night of us singing to "marry you" by Bruno Mars.
I laughed to myself and carried on looking through insta to see a football transfer from fabrizio romano.
It says
"real madrid are advancing to complete deal to sign Jude Bellingham"

With jude in a Madrid jersey.

I doubt it's going to happen but if it does it's gonna be awkward if we run into eachother.

I had to work a few extra hours since I was late this morning it was now 11:14 and I'm finally done for the day. No one was here except from me so i was the one in charge of locking everything up.

I walked back to my car and got in and started to drive. There was no one on the road which was good but scared at the same time, made me realise how late it really was.

I was really hungry since I haven't had barely anything all day so I decided to stop at maccies.

I ordered 3 chicken selects and medium fries with a coke which I've always ordered everytime I go to maccies.
Hits the spot every time.

I had a 30 min drive home so I put on my playlist first so my that came on was "Right my wrongs"-Bryson tiller

Me and Jude's song.
