The deal is done and I'm moved to Madrid. I guess I'm happy, one of the best clubs in the world signed me and I'm only 19.
I wonder if jaeda knows I'm moved or if she even cares. She's been there ever since I was in the academy and when I first joined Dortmund.
Apart of me will always miss her presence and the fact she can't order on her own and I'd have to do it for her.
I haven't heard from her In nearly a year now which sounds weird to say. We did follow eachother on instagram but she's unfollowed me now, I guess she wants to put it in the past?
I don't think I could ever find someone better then her, I mean we did date for 3 years and my mum and brother loved her as much as I did.
It was a day off today I had nothing to do so i wanted to look around Madrid. My pronunciations was getting there not the best but I'll learn.
I looked into a couple shops but everyone was speaking Spanish and I couldn't understand but oh well.
I walked through the street and saw a little cafe and decided to sit in there since I was hungry. I ordered a coffee with this bagel thing and decided to sit in there.
It was packed out with kids and parents but I found a space next to this girl on her computer.
"Can I sit here? There's no other spaces" -I say, hoping she wouldn't mind.
"Yeah of course I was just leaving?" -the fact she looked just like jaeda was crazy.
I was only in there for about 15 minutes everyone around me was so annoying I had to get out. Madrid was nice but when your alone it gets boring.
I walked past a really pretty flower shop and it reminded me of jaeda the way she'd buy so many flowers to put in her apartment was probably my favourite thing about her. I decided to go in there.
There was relaxing music in the background and it smelt all flowery.
"So how much are these?" -I heard a girl that sounded like jaeda say
"That's 34 euros please" -the shop keeper says
"Can I help you?" - a worker says to me
"Oh I'm just browsing,thank you" - i say
She nods and walks away.
"thank you Mary, I'll probably be back tomorrow around the same time to pick them up"- the girl that was paying earlier says
"See you tomorrow jaeda!" - Mary,the shop keeper says. I turned around so fast to see jaeda leaving the shop.
"Still buying flowers then" - I say walking behind her not to close tho
She turns back and stops for a moment
"And why wouldn't I, Bellingham" - she says
"What ones did you buy this time?"
"Roses and tulips, thought you hated flowers" - she says
"I still do" - I say
It was silent for a bit
"What are you doing her Jude" - she says looking away. She hated eye contact.
"Could say the same to you"
"I work here, I have a job and I'm on my break right now" - she looks at her watch and realises she's late
"Shittt, um I've got to go" - she says then starts fast walking away.
I just watch as she leaves, was that really her?
