It's been a couple days since I ran into you know who... And I'm surprised it wasn't awkward between us.
I got into work and sat down at my desk, my manager said there's something important I need to do today so I better be on time. I luckily I was.
"So jaeda, as you know I called you in earlier then your usual time, that's because im giving you this opportunity to show your skills to the world"
I was kinda nervous for what she was going to say it could be ANYTHING.
"Madrid fc needs a new kit design and wants our company to design it, so I was wondering if you wanted to because i feel like you could make an amazing design for them."
She wants ME to design THE Real Madrid shirt?
"Here's the colour scheme that you need add in and make it similar to the old one but make a few changes."
"Are you sure you want 'me' to do it?"
"Yes you'd be perfect for it"
It was silent for a sec I guess my thoughts were taking over.
"Ill leave you to get to work, since they want the kit in 2 weeks" - she says and my eyes widen
"That's such a short time" -I say
"So, chop-chop" -she says then walks out
My manager wasn't that nicest but wasn't the meanest for sure.
I opened up my computer and got to work, I looked through the colour scheme I had and started playing about with the colours on which looked best. I needed to make one for the away kit and a home kit. They didn't say how they wanted it to look so I just guessed. Shouldn't be that hard should it?
It's been 5 days and I officially came up with the colour scheme for the away kit now all I need to do is the home kit which is far more harder.
I had less then a week to get it all done by and I also need to send the designs over to the Madrid company to see if they look good.
I was the thinking yellow for most of shirt but then it looked weird then I tried black for the hole shirt and realised I did that for the away kit so the only colour I had left was white.
-2 days later-
"Jaeda have you submitted the shirts they need them next week" -my manager calls
"Yes I have, I'm just waiting on the approval"
"Can I see them?"
I nod, then showed her my designs hoping she'd like them as much I do.
"Oh my, these are amazing!"
"Thankyou" -I say smiling
"You know I never really say this but your work your creativity can get you really far and your only 20"
I smile
