Draco and I climbed the staircase. The climb was long and the corridors before us seemed endless. Draco fumbled with my suitcase in his hand to find my room. The manor had thousands of rooms that appeared to be used for commercial purposes. After a few minutes of searching, we arrived at one of the rooms in a bright and beautiful corridor.

Draco opened the door to the room and instructed me to go inside. "After you, my lady." He said with a laugh and smiled slyly. I looked at him sarcastically and entered the room.

He was huge. In the middle of the room stood a large square bed that could accommodate two people. The bed was fortified with pillars in all its corners and dark green curtains on them, just like at the entrance to the manor. On the bed were a bunch of padded pillows and some blankets, some spread and some folded. On the side of the room was a window that led to a small balcony with a view of the rose garden in their yard.

There was a huge wardrobe made of wood that could hold thousands of clothes. The room had a makeup corner with a mirror and small drawers for storage inside.

There was a small desk by the window and drawers with quills and ink galore and in another drawer were sheets of parchment. Above the table was a dusty bookshelf with a variety of books.

On the other side of the room, there was a door leading to a toilet and shower room and there was also a bathtub there.

The room is decorated in dark shades of green and black - it's simply stunning.

"Wow. It's lovely Draco" I told him while taking in the room. He smiled and leaned against the door frame.

"Well, I think there's everything you need here, but if you want anything, I'll be a few rooms over." he said pointing in the direction of his room. "Even if you just want to talk... I'm here."

"Thanks, Draco. If you want after dinner we can talk and you'll show me around." I offered politely as I sat down on the cozy bed.

"Sounds like a deal." he said and smiled. "see you later." He added and closed the door behind him, leaving me alone in my room.

I haven't been there for half a day and already I feel at home. The treatment that the Malfoys bring to me, I have never been exposed to such treatment. The beauty and warmth that surrounds the house, it's just amazing. And now, after a long time, I could rest my head on the collection of comfortable pillows on the bed, take a deep breath and relax. It was such a good decision to come here.

I lay comfortably in bed. It felt really good. As if all the problems disappeared in a second. And despite the relief that was running through me I couldn't stop thinking about Mr. Malfoy. There is something very relaxed about him, as if he knows what he is doing but also mysterious and dark. This attitude he gives me feels a little intimate. Mr. Malfoy didn't know me too well before I came. He met me a few times when I was younger and didn't really communicate. I suppose the warm and personal relationship stems from my father's acquaintance with him, but it felt beyond that. Maybe it's a story I'm building in my head and it still feels right and wrong at the same time.

I rested for a few hours. I woke up naturally to the sight of the sunset in the glass window. What a pastoral sight. I got up from my bed towards the small balcony to enjoy this moment a little more. There are small things in life that are significant and we don't pay enough attention to them, mainly because they seem obvious. But they don't. They are much more than that.

My gaze was diverted by the knocking on the door. I got up from the balcony and walked towards the door. I opened it slowly, trying to figure out who the knocking person was. I looked around and there was no one or any sign of a person. I looked down at the floor and saw a box with a letter on it.
