Xavier felt himself drifting out of reality, he held Wednesday's hand tightly enough to startle her awake.
Moriah, screaming at someone,
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU MORTICIA!"
"Sister, you are not thinking rationally. Please sit down and we'll tal-"
"NO! I have been rotting in this hellhole for THIRTY- EIGHT YEARS! All because mother and father wanted us to live here and have an ordinary life! YOU FELL IN LOVE, GOT MARRIED AND NOW YOU HAVE TWO WONDERFUL CHILDREN!"
The woman looked insane, her hair disheveled all over the place. With piercing bloodshot eyes, holding a dagger in her hand.
"THAT CHILD OF YOURS, IS A CURSE TO THIS FAMILY!"
Morticia stood up from her chair and slapped the woman across her face.
"Watch your mouth Moriah."
The young raven stood in a corner, teetered on the edge of crying.
The woman inhaled sharply and placed the dagger back in her pocket, eyes beaming with insanity.
"Sister, our lives will be much better after your children are gone. You can stay married if you want! You can even keep Pugsley with you. But not the girl."
"You don't get to decide who I get to keep and who I don't get to." She emphasized the word 'keep'. Moriah's eyes travelled to the wavering girl in the corner.
"There you are! My darling, I'll make it quick. You won't feel a thing..." she raised her hand, holding the dagger with an uncanny smile on her face. Morticia yanked the dagger and wrestled the woman to the ground. She threw her sister's hands off her and stood on her feet.
"She has till her...birthday..." the words began blurring out.
"What do you mean by her...birthday?" Which birthday?
"I mean exactly what I said. I'll make sure her death will be quick but painful...until then I will be watching her."
"You won't lay a finger on anyone." Morticia gritted her teeth.
"We shall see." She disappeared into a cloud of smoke.
"Xavier...Xavier!" Wednesday tried to shake him awake. He was sweating and quivering as he awoke from his vision.
"Are you okay? Did you see something?" She had a a hint of fear etched on her face.
"I saw something...about you." He sat upright on his bed and ran a hand through his open hair. "It's not that important. I don't wanna talk about it right now. Just...go back to sleep."
"Are you sure...?"
"Yes, Wednesday." He groaned.
She laid on the bed and tugged at his hand to pull him down. He softly chuckled and slid under the covers with her. She was cold, he was warm. Xavier got back into their original position, but this time, they were much closer. She was much closer. His face was nuzzled into her neck and arms wrapped around her body. She loved it. In fact, pulled him closer into herself.
It was probably the first time in a few months Wednesday had gotten a whole night's sleep.
"Wednesday..."
"Wens..."
She felt her stomach doing backflips at the name he called her. She pulled the blanket over her head. He gave a soft snicker and crawled under with her. The light coming from the window seeped through the fabric, causing his green eyes to glow.
"Wake up..."
He caressed his hand on her cheek. Her eyes fluttered open. She felt a sensation similar to heat crawling up her neck. Wednesday wasn't used to controlling these things, she shoved her face in her hands drawing another chuckle from him.
"I need to go..." She flipped the blanket off her head.
"Where?"
"To my room..."
She wasn't even fully awake yet, her eyes barely open.
"Can you stay for a few more minutes?"
She immediately pulled herself next to him. He happily cradled her in his arms.
Who knew they were going to stay like that for the next two hours. Wednesday knew she'd be coming to do this every night.

Sadly, Wednesday needed to leave while Xavier was still asleep. She wasn't sure he would be comfortable with her in his bed with him.
She put on her boots, braided her hair and crept out of his room. When she was already a few minutes away from his room, she realized something. What happened to the creature? Thankfully, she reached her dorm safely. Enid was still snoring with her mouth wide open. She took a warm bath and dressed into fresh clothes.

Xavier reached for Wednesday, only to realize she was gone. Was I too touchy? He asked himself as he rolled out of bed.
He took a cold shower. The weather wasn't warm, but he loved the cold. One of the reasons as to why he loved Wednesday. It wasn't just that particular quirk, he could name thousands more if he had to.
He walked out the door.
Yes, he went looking for Wednesday.

Xavier peeked through the circular window. And there she sat, tucked away with her typewriter in the back of her side of the room.
He tapped his fingers as she turned from her chair to face him. She stood up and immediately put her hands on his mouth as she closed the window behind her to prevent the snoring werewolf from waking.
"Why are you here?"
"You left. Why?" He questioned as he folded his arms.
"You came all the way here...to ask me why I left."
"Yes."
"I didn't think you'd want me to be there in the morning when you would wake, so I thought it would be best if I left early."
"Wednesday...of course I want you to be there."
She kept her head lowered throughout the tense conversation,
"Wens, look at me." He held her cheek as he urged her to face him. She slowly bent her neck to look up at him.
"I thought you said you wouldn't hide anything from me."
"I know but I can't say it, yet."
"Yet?"
"You'll know eventually."
"I hope so,"
He slowly bent down, his lips itching to feel hers. They leapt off eachother,
"I'M SORRY, BUT WHAT HAVE I JUST WITNESSED?" Enid stood with her arms in the air at the threshold of the window.

Enid had to know at some point.
