"What's up with...her? How is she doing?" Haven whispered with concern in her voice.

"I don't know...she's been like this since last night." Enid answered.

Wednesday laid still in a dead-like position on her bed. She was facing the wall so her face wasn't visible. Her hair was left unbraided and scattered on her face.

The only people who were privileged of seeing her with her hair open, were Enid, Haven and Arzhel. It was a blessing, to be honest.

"Is she asleep?"

"I don't know."

Enid tip-toed to the raven and poked twice on her shoulder. There was no reaction. She shrugged and walked back to her side of the room.

"She told me she was there when Kimberly was killed."

"Wait, really?!" Haven was hearing this for the first time,

"Yeah...she seemed pretty shocked."

"Holy shit..."

"Will you both shut the fuck up." Wednesday sat upright as Enid and Haven flinched. They knew she'd been having mood swings since the past few weeks, due to the lack of sleep.

The werewolf somehow convinced the pig-tailed girl to join her for lunch. They stood in one of the corners in the hallway. Haven had gone to the cafeteria to get herself a waffle.

Xavier couldn't stop thinking about Wednesday, so he began sketching her. He was desperate to see her face again after last night. He'd heard some cops and an officer even took a statement from him and searched his art shed but didn't tell him why.

"Hey, whatcha doin there?" Arzhel jumped onto a seat in front of him.

"Oh, its nothing." He hurriedly slammed his book shut.

"You okay? You seem a little down."

"Didn't get much sleep last night." He wasn't in the mood for small talk at the moment.

"Do you mind if I ask you a question?"

"No, no I don't."

"So...what's going on with you and Wednesday?"

Xavier froze at his random question. He actually didn't know what was going on between him and Wednesday.

"It's a long story."

"I'm willing to listen."

He thought about it for a second before the artist told him every detail, every event that involved Wednesday. Arzhel was in complete awe at the way he described her. He stared into empty space for what seemed like minutes until Xavier waved a hand in front if his face.

Xavier truly missed her company. Even if it was her gaze upon him or her snarky replies. He missed every single thing about her despite the fact he'd seen her just yesterday. But it had been three months since he'd had an actual conversation with her.

Arzhel noticed Haven wandering around with a chocolate waffle in her hand. He frantically waved his hand around and gestured her to come to their table.

"Haven, Come sit with us!"

She sprinted to them and took a seat beside Arzhel,

"Hey guys, sorry I didn't see you this morning. I was in Enid's dorm."

"Nah, it's fine, I woke up late anyways."

"Did you know that last night, Kimberly was murdered...this is really bad."
