Senpai looks at me from the otherside of the sofa.
"What are you doing?" he asks, his voice laced with boredom.
"I'm reading." I say not bothering to look up from the book.
He sits straight hearing this, his blue eyes looking at the book in my hand. "What book is that?"
I show him the book's cover. "It's called Howl's Moving Castle."
He takes the book out of my hand, flipping through the pages with great interest. "What's it about? A moving castle?" He laughs a bit.
"It is." I take the book out of his hand, continuing to read it. "It has a movie too.You should watch it, the main character is just like you."
He raises his eyebrow at the statement and walks upstairs out of the living room.I find him one evening sitting on the sofa, completely engrossed in something. I get closer to see what he's doing. He was reading Howl's Moving castle. He was so absorbed into the book he didn't even notice me.
"What are you doing?" I ask, my smile evident in my voice.
Senpai gets startled by my voice, "N-Nothing!" He puts the book as far away from him as possible.
I chuckle at his reaction.
"I got you something." He says changing the topic.
My eyes widen in surprise and excitement. "What?"
He hands me a box that's covered with wrapping paper, with a cute ribbon on top. He smiles as he watches me open the box with curiosity.
It was the sequel to the book, 'Castle in the Air' and a CD of the original sound track of the Ghibli movie.
I couldn't believe my eyes. I look at him, a huge smile on my face. He mirrors my expression and I hug him.
"Thank You so much!" I yell happily as he hugs me back, laughing at my reaction. "You're the best!"
"I'm happy you liked it." he smiles.
We look into each other's eyes in the comfortable silence, nobody dares break eye contact. After a few moments he looks at my lips before looking back into my eyes, his blue eyes seemed to reflect the same thoughts seen in my own eyes.
He closes his eyes and bends down to kiss me. I couldn't help but kiss back, my eyes closed shut as his mouth works it's magic.2018
The night ended with the bottle landing on me more times than I would've liked and Satoru ended up drinking instead of me.
He was absolutely wasted so we left early. I bid my goodbyes to the other and we walked out, me trying my best to drag Satoru to our car. His hair is dishevelled, his top two buttons undone.
He looks hot.
"N/N~" His voice is groggy.
"hm? What's wrong?" I try my best to seat him in the car, but he's too heavy.
"I love you, you know…" he slurs as I strap his seat belt on. "I love you so much…"
"I love you too, Satoru…" I reply as I get on the driver's seat. "Now let's go home and get you some medicine. Or you're gonna wake up with a crazy headache…"We reach home and I barely managed to bring Satoru into the bedroom. He lies on the edge of the bed while I go get him some water and medicine.
"Here." I make him sit up and slowly give him the medicine.
"Thankyou, love~" he says before collapsing on the bed again from exhaustion.
I change his clothes and position him to sleep on his side of the bed. Satoru's face is peaceful. He pulls me next to him and hugs me tightly.
I woke up the next morning to Satoru groaning in pain.
"N/N…the hangover's crazier than I expected…" he was lying next to me, curled up into a ball.
I got some painkillers and a glass of water.
"You didn't have to drink all that alcohol…" I rub his back gently as he takes the painkillers.
"I had to…you don't like to drink." His voice is soft, pain evident in his words.
I smile at his reply. "I would've been fine…besides, you're a lightweight too…" I felt really bad to have him drink that much alcohol, but he wouldn't let me even take a sip of it.
"Still…thankyou for doing that…" I hug him gently and he returns the gesture, resting his head on my shoulders.
"I'll do anything for you." he whispers back.⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆
