All For You (Hiro X Reader)

Chapter 10

Okay from this point on, for this night and any really long, continuable time periods I will just out the time at the top of the chapter just so you guys know.

(Y/N)'s POV:

"Dude, stop picking the song right after mine!" You told Hiro. You grabbed the cushion on your chair and playfully threw it at him, causing Hiro to put up his arms to block the attack.

"Hey, you can't blame me! We need a longer break!' Hiro said through laughter.

"You can be so unreasonable sometimes!" you say, a little exasperated. 

"Hey, you've only known me for a day!"

"So have you!"

"Touché."

"And we are back with 101.3 The Blend, now with Say Something," the radio announcer said through the box with speakers sitting on the back wall.

"Okay, Say Something is my choice this time.  Come on," You said, dragging Hiro up.

"Wait, but this is a slow song! Will we have to slow dance to this one!?" Hiro asked suddenly a little scared.

"Your rule was we had to dance fittingly to the song.  Yes, we will have to slow dance.  What is the big deal?" you asked, genuinely wanting an answer.

"I-I, uh, never mind," Hiro started, looking at the ground.

"Oh come on, you can tell me," you said, trying to get him to answer your question.

"Okay fine.  I don't know how to slow dance, okay.  There I said it," Hiro blurted, but not yelling.  He was completely calm when he spoke, as if he was ashamed for not knowing how to slow dance.

"Okay, come here, it is easy," you said, taking a step closer to him.  He walked up cautiously, keeping space between the both of you.

" Okay, now you put your hands on my waist and I put mine on your shoulders, okay?" you explained.

"Like this?" He asked, putting his hands on your waist, still keeping lost of space between the two of you.

"That's good, but come a bit closer.  You don't have to stand so far away," you explained.  He inched a little bit closer to you, close enough for you to put your arms around his neck. "See, this isn't so bad, right?"

"How do I know you aren't gonna bite,' Hiro asked with a smirk.

"I can just tell you I'm not gonna bite, how is that?" you asked, smiling big, trying to hold in laughter.

"I guess that'll do," Hiro laughed.

"Okay, now you can't slow dance if you are just standing in place the whole time.  We have to actually dance, move around.  I will guide first but then it is usually the man's job to take over.," you explained.  "We are gonna start with some thing basic.  Two steps right, one step left, okay?"

"Okay, I think I got it." Hiro assured you.

"Okay.  Ready and 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3," you counted.  You started right on beat, and maybe 20 seconds into the dance he took over and led you.  While dancing you started talking to him.

"Okay, so if you didn't know how to slow dance, then why would you make it a rule to dance accordingly to the song?" you asked, interested in what the answer may happen to be.

"Well, I was kind of trusting my instincts, that you probably wouldn't choose a slow song for fear of slow dancing like me," he admitted.

"Well then obviously you don't know me very well do you," you replied with a little laugh.

"Well I have only known you for a day," he shot back playfully,

"Haven't we already gone over this?" you laughed.  You looked up from your feet and you and Hiro's eyes met.  You couldn't look away, but you didn't want to.  It was like time froze.  The song ended and you guys stopped dancing, but didn't move.  You just stood there, in each other's arms, staring into one another's eyes.  Once you realized that you were just staring at each other you broke apart as fast as light. 

"Well...uh...thank for teaching me to dance (Y/N)," Hiro said, trying to break the ice.

"Yeah...no problem." you replied, blushing madly. 

"We should, uh," Hiro started, nervously pointing back to where we were working before.

"Yeah," you said, understanding what he meant.  "We probably should."

The both of you rushed back to the area you were working and started coding the prototype once more.
