Your POV:

Noon rolled by and before you knew it your dad was walking through the door of the cafe ready to pick you up. You and Hiro were still in a heated debate about Anime.

"Hey (Y/N), come on it's time to go," you dad said, motioning for you to get up.

"Okay, just let me run and get my stuff," you said, starting to walk towards the garage in the back. Hiro got up to go back and help you.

In about five minutes you had semi-successfully stuffed everything back into your backpack and were walking back out to your dad. You got out there and said goodbye to Cass and Hiro (Tadashi was still upstairs) and left with your dad.

You threw your stuff in the back of your dad's car and climbed into the front seat.

"So, tell me again why you spent the night over there?" your dad asked, glancing at you and then starting the car. "You just kind of told me you were sleeping over and sped off."

"Oh, sorry. It is kind of a long story, how long do we have in the car?" you said jokingly.

"I believe we have just long enough. And your time begins...now!"

"Whoa whoa whoa, slow down. What?!" you dad cut you off. "Start again."

"Okay. Wasabi took me to SFIT, the college that he goes to, and showed me around. Everybody showed me what they were working on and such. Well anyway one of the boys that picked us up from the airport, Tadashi, well he has a little brother my age. He also graduated highschool really young. Well while we were there Robert Callaghan spoke to us all. Apparently he is a professor there. Well anyway he spoke to us both. Once we were in the elevator going down and gonna come back Hiro, Tadashi's little brother, and I had an epiphany and we realized that if we didn't go to that school that we were gonna lose our minds. So Tadashi brought us all back to their house and he told us about an annual showcase for the community held at SFIT, and if you create something that blows Callaghan away then you can be accepted into SFIT. So Hiro and I began working on a partner project for the showcase so we both don't lose our minds by not even trying to get into the school. We spent all night in the garage working on our project. We decided on making microbots that are controlled with a neural cranial transmitter or controlled with your mind in simpler terms." You were extremely out of breath once you finished your story. You decided to leave out the part about dancing with Hiro and the sleeping arrangements because that just isn't what a dad needs to hear the day after you move to a new place.

Well okay, so you are gonna try to get into a college?!" you dad asked, suddenly really excited. since you graduated so young you had decided to take a break from school before you went to college. Just to give yourself some time to think about what you really wanted to do and be, since everything else was so rushed.

"Yeah. I guess I am!" you said with a big smile.

"Okay. So now that we have gotten that out of the way, where do you want to go eat lunch? Anywhere you would like."

"Hmm. Hey dad, do you remember when I was doing research on San Fransokyo and I read about that karaoke place?"

"Ah yes. (Y/N)'s Karaoke and Grill. I remember, yes."

"And I said that would be a cool place to check out since it is my name and I absolutely love music?"

"Yes, I do recall that."
