The Fall of Kim Taehyung
"I've already told you that once Marcus finds out what you did, you'll lose everything," Philip, Taehyung's father, said, his voice laced with a chilling certainty.
"Can't you do something, Dad? You're the Medical Director here. I can't lose my license. I've worked for it! They can't just revoke my license like this. And what does my license have to do with what I've done to Lisa?!" Taehyung pleaded, his voice laced with desperation.
Philip stood up, his anger palpable. He grabbed Taehyung's collar, his grip tight. "Are you stupid, or did you not just read the hospital regulations? And even if it's not on the list, you had an affair with Lisa's wife, and Marcus won't let it slide!"
"He asked someone to dig your record and found your medical malpractice case five years ago. The Medical Board had found that you failed to determine your patient's risk and didn't abide by and set rules. You fucking still proceeded to operate on your patient, which led to his death! You didn't even ask for consent to operate with the family! What have you been thinking? Why haven't you informed me about it?!" Philip yelled, his fist connecting with Taehyung's face.
"Marcus was the CEO of this hospital; he has all the power, and he used that to revoke your license. The Medical Board has also voted to permanently revoke your license."
"Now your reputation is ruined! I told you to clean up your mess, but you only made it worse!" Philip continued to yell, his voice a torrent of rage. Taehyung kept his head low, his shame a tangible weight.
"I tried to pursue Lisa, and I asked for her forgiveness on your behalf, but she showed no remorse! It was all your fault!"
"The hospital and the public may not have known about your affair with Lisa's wife, but your incompetence during the surgery has harmed your reputation far more!" Philip exclaimed, his voice dripping with disdain.
"So now get out of my face. GET LOST!" Philip commanded, his voice a final, cruel dismissal. Taehyung quickly obliged, his spirit broken, his future shattered.

"Lisa!" The surgeon, her face pale and drawn, was about to enter the elevator when a familiar voice called out to her.
"Doc, Bae."
"Going home?" Doctor Bae asked, her voice laced with concern. She smiled at Lisa, her eyes filled with warmth.
