The Unveiling

"Who told you that?" Lisa's voice was a low growl, her eyes narrowed as she watched Jennie's fist clench. "Was it Tae who called you?"

"I stayed with you, I did what you want?!" Jennie's voice rose, a desperate plea laced with defiance. Lisa, her anger simmering, grabbed Jennie's arm, her grip tightening.

"Do you ever think that I will let it slide?" Lisa said through gritted teeth, her voice a chilling whisper.

"Do you think I will just sit here and watch him continue his life after he betrayed me?! The Medical Board found him incompetent five years ago. He performed the surgery despite the patient's risks and didn't ask for consent from the family. He hid the truth, he and the people who helped him got their license revoked!" Jennie was shocked to know the information, Taehyung hadn't told her about this.

"B-but the board wouldn't find out about it if you didn't ask someone to check his records," Jennie replied, her voice trembling.

"You're still siding with him?! The family lost their loved ones. If the board hadn't checked his records, the family wouldn't have known about the reason for their son's death!" Jennie could feel the anger in Lisa's voice, the raw hurt that fueled her words.

"And do you think Tae will be the only one affected by it? It will also damage the hospital, the hospital will be liable for it!" Jennie fired back, her voice laced with a desperate attempt to defend Taehyung.

"The hospital had talked to the family. They informed them about the revocation of Tae's license and the people behind the surgery. They even paid for the damages that your lover did. ASAN is ready to face any charges from the family and provide additional compensation. Your lover will also be sued but know this, the Hospital won't back him up."

"Now I want you to be miserable by watching your lover be miserable," Lisa said, her voice cold and hard, her eyes burning with a chilling intensity.

"And know this, you not only took away Tae's right to become a doctor, you also took away his happiness... YOU BOTH TOOK AWAY MY HAPPINESS!" Lisa couldn't hold back her rage; her eyes were burning with anger, and Jennie was terrified of her.

"When you decided to have an affair with him, all of my hopes, dreams, and happiness were taken away!" Lisa cried out, her grip on Jennie loosening as she fell to the floor, her sobs echoing through the room.

"I hate you, Jennie...." Lisa said between her sobs, her voice a broken whisper. Jennie covered her mouth to stifle her own sobs as she watched her wife in agony.

"ARGH!" Taehyung writhed in pain as Marcus, a towering figure of fury, hit him on the stomach with a golf stick.

"Marcus, please calm down," Philip pleaded, his voice laced with desperation as he tried to stop him.

"I considered you my son. I accepted you into my hospital. My daughter trusted you and treated you as her brother, but despite everything we've done, you still betrayed her and had an affair with her wife," Marcus said, his voice dripping with rage before hitting Taehyung again, this time on his face, causing blood to drip onto his head.
