Blue POV
"Welcome to Discovery Science Center...." said the intercom as Yellow and Blue walked through the entrance.
"Wow," said Blue, "There's a lot to look at around here."
"I know," agreed Yellow, "I still can't believe a place like this exists. A building just for science? That's just incredible!"
They walked over to the dinosaur exhibit and admired how big the models were.
"I wonder how long it took them to put the skeletons together?" Blue asked
"Probably a long time," Yellow said, "Did you know that the biggest dinosaur bone ever found was a backbone that weighed more than a tank."
"Really?"
"Yeah, and that there are roughly 700 known species of extinct dinosaurs."
"Where did you learn all of this?"
"I read it in a book back home."
"A book? We don't have books back- wait, were you the one using Alan's credit card to buy those one hundred books?"
"Uhhhhh....look, there's a solar system here!"
Before Blue could say anything, Yellow ran off.
Yeah, it was definitely him. Glad to solve that mystery, he thought as he walked toward the solar system.
"Oh my sticks! This is so much better than searching it up on Alan's PC." Yellow said, "It's like you're actually in the solar system!"
Blue smiled at Yellow's excitement. It was a good idea to take him here
Earlier that day, Blue had found the museum on the internet and suggested that they should go. Yellow was, of course, hesitant at first, but Blue managed to convince him.
"If you guys really want to feel like you're in space, you should try the planetarium."
Blue turned to see a stranger talking to them. It was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, so he couldn't really see its face.
"A planetwhat?"
"A planetarium. Follow me, I'll show you."
The stranger took them to this dome-shaped building. There were many seats in the building, plus a giant projector showing off stars, planets, and galaxies.
"Woah," they both said
"I know, right? Did you know that there are about a trillion stars in our galaxy alone?"
"That's a lot," Blue said
"It is," Yellow said, "I remember reading from somewhere that the sun is also a star."
"Yeah, it is! And that the sun is made up of different types of gases."
"Isn't it plasma, though?"
The stranger stared at Yellow, surprised.
"You know a lot about science, do you?"
"I tried to learn as much as I could," Yellow said, "I don't mean to be rude, but do I know you? Your voice sounds familiar."
"No, it doesn't!" the stranger said, "Uh-I mean-"
Someone bumped into the stranger, knocking off its glasses, revealing it to be
"Amber!" Yellow said
"Did someone say Amber?" a stick said
"The mayor's daughter is here!" another stick said
"Let's go see her."
A crowd was starting to form.
"Well, that's my cue to leave," Amber said, "Bye guys."
With that, she took off running.
