A year had passed since eun-ji's arrival in this new life as Vivian Stallard, and she was now 16 years old. Reflecting on the past year, she couldn't help but acknowledge the significant changes that had taken place. Living with her mother, Floriyn, and her newfound feline friend Willow, had brought her happiness, but there was a lingering sense of guilt that weighed on her heart.

She thought to herself, "It's been good, and so much has changed. I've even learned to use magic. It's interesting, to say the least. But part of me still feels guilty because I'm not the real Vivian. I wasn't supposed to have this life. It should have been Vivian, not me, Eun-Ji."

Willow meowed in agreement, sitting beside Vivian at the table.

Vivian snapped out of her thoughts and replied with a smile, "Ah, sorry, I was just lost in thought." She turned her attention to her plate of food, which smelled delicious. "It's delicious, Mom, as always," she added before taking a bite.

Floriyn smiled at her daughter's compliment and started eating as well.

Vivian's occasional spaced-out moments were something both Floriyn and Willow had grown accustomed to. They exchanged a knowing look and sighed, acknowledging Vivian's behavior
