𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗥𝗘 cleared his throat, instantly grabbing everyone's attention. All eyes turned toward the staircase, where Klahadore and Kaya stood. "May I present," Klahadore began, "Miss Kaya."

He extended his hand for Kaya to reach out, and she descended the stairs gracefully, with Klahadore by her side. As they descended, the man who had been talking to Nami approached Kaya.

"Kaya, you look absolutely radiant," he remarked.

Klahadore and the man swapped places, with Kaya now holding onto his arm.

"Merry, I'm so glad you could make it," Kaya expressed.

Merry responded, "This is a milestone I wouldn't miss for the world. Your parents would be so proud." They reached the bottom of the staircase.

Now, Kaya stood in front of Nami. "Nami, I love that dress on you," Kaya complimented.

Nami replied with a simple "Thanks."

Kaya continued, "It belonged to my mother. It was one of her favourites."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I-" Nami began, but Kaya interrupted, saying, "Not at all. I'm sure she would agree it suits you splendidly," with a warm smile.

Then, Kaya turned her attention to me and complimented me as well. "Yuki, you look stunning," Kaya praised with a smile.

I blushed slightly and replied, "Thank you, Kaya. You look ravishing tonight."

Kaya's warm smile conveyed her appreciation for the kind words we exchanged.

"Kaya, might I have your ear?" Merry said to Kaya, his voice filled with seriousness.

He continued, "There are matters concerning the transfer of ownership of the shipyard. We need to discuss."

I quickly glanced at Nami, who was already looking at me, but before we could delve into a conversation, Klahadore intervened, saying, "Merry, dear friend, it's always business with you."

A sigh escaped Merry, and Klahadore added, "Tonight is about celebration."

Kaya smiled at him, but I couldn't shake the odd feeling I got from Klahadore. I observed him, from head to toe, before focusing on his face.

why does he look so familiar?

Klahadore went on, "Shall we all move to the dining room?"

Luffy's face lit up with a grin, and he exclaimed, "Yes!" He continued, "Oh, oh, I'm so ready for this..." and led the way to the dining room, with everyone following him.

However, I wasted no time in making my way to Zoro. I pulled at his suit to get his attention, and he turned to me, his tone slightly annoyed as he asked, "What do you want now?"

"You're right," I whispered to Zoro, my gaze still on Klahadore. "That butler looks familiar, and he's giving me the creeps. Well, everything is giving me the creeps except Kaya."

Zoro just looked at her with a raised eyebrow, and I, noticing his expression, I said, "What?"

Zoro shook his head slightly. "Nothing, just keep an eye on him," he replied in a low voice. Before we joined everyone in the dining room, he couldn't resist asking, "By the way, how's your wounded shoulder holding up?"

With a smirk, I replied, "Aw, you care."

Zoro huffed and retorted, "In your dreams, parrot."

I chuckled and replied, "Don't worry, tough guy. It's healing just fine."

I found a seat next to Nami and Kaya, ready to tuck into the enticing spread of food. Surprisingly, it tasted delicious, a real treat.

Then, Kaya spoke up, "I'd like to try the fish tonight," directing her request to Sham.

But Klahadore, the stern attendant, stepped in and told her, "I'm sorry, Miss Kaya, but you can't have that."

Kaya was persistent, "Just a tiny piece, perhaps?"

Klahadore remained firm, explaining, "Certain foods might not be suitable for your health."

I couldn't hold back my frustration and interjected, "Even a small piece won't hurt. It's her birthday, and she should enjoy the food she likes."

While I was speaking up, Buchi discreetly served Kaya a bowl of soup. It had a rather unusual blue colour, white cream, and even some flower petals.

Klahadore, as usual, stood his ground, stating, "Miss Kaya's health condition requires me to carefully monitor her diet."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his overprotectiveness. Nami joined in, saying, "Does that mean you make all her decisions?"

I couldn't help but smile and gave Nami a fist bump. "Great job, partner in crime," I said.

Nami grinned back.
