Davina Targaryen was focused on fun and adventure when they took their trip north she never expected to fall in love.

"What you're looking for has been here the whole time."
🐺 All explicit and otherwise intimate relations are done by consentin...
"Good, I thought you hit your head when the kids were playing how big a splat can the melon make from the tallest tower." Avalon offered. Unbeknown to them that Rhaegar and Lyanna had already wed and Jon was not really a bastard, he was royalty.
"If thats what you want." Ned remarked. "Then I fully support it."
So Avalon started preparing a legitimization ceremony.
"THIS IS GRAND!" Davina declared. "Thank you mum!"
"Jon deserved the best, just dont tell him I want it to be a surprise." Avalon reminded her.
"I know, I know, oh, father can't so no anymore that means. Did Ned agree? i know Jon previously wanted to be legitimized by his father. Thought that would never happen but his father is his uncle and his parents are gone." Davina remarked bluntly.
"Yes Ned agreed. He wanted this for Jon too." Avalon assured. Avalon felt so much love for the smile on Davina's face, knowing it was because Jon was about to get everything he ever wanted.
"What can I do to help?"

"Come on!" Davina pulled Jon along.
"What are we doing? Where are we going? I thought we were going to the courtyard for training." Jon remarked confused. "You hungry?"
"Always, but thats not exactly- no!" Davina demanded, Jon startled back. "You are not spoiling anything with questions. No questions."
"Davina!" Jon laughed out.
"Do you trust me?"
"I thought you said no questions?"
"That was a question, you are a bad listener." Davina mused. "Do you trust me!" She demanded pulling him to a stop.
"You know I do." Jon agreed.
"Then less questions and more blind obedience." Davina instructed. "It will be good practice for when we are married. Just roll with it."
"Jon step forward." Avalon requested. Davina was jumping with excitement. Hesitantly he moved forward, putting his sword down before him.

"We have a surprise for you." Avalon cooed. "Do you trust me?"
"Blind obedience." Jon whispered looking to Davina. She nudged him. "I do." Jon agreed. She touched his cheek. Davina grabbed his hand leading him into the throne room. Avalon and Davina pushed open the doors for him.
"This is my... this is all for me?" Jon rasped. He looked around the throne room, it was decorated in dark Stark blue -greys and Targaryen reds.
"You deserve it." Davina assured. "This and more." Ned handed off the decree to Avalon and Jon felt like he needed to bow.
"From this day until your last day, you are Jon Stark Targaryen... Son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark."
Avalon handed him the decree and Jon stared down at the words before collapsing into her.
"Thank you." Jon rasped.
"I'm so glad I could do this for you." Avalon whispered holding him closer.
"Legitimization is the process by which a bastard receives the rights and social status of trueborn offspring by royal decree." Jaime was telling Myrcella. The irony in telling his bastard of the legitimization process.
"To Jon Stark!" Davina declared raising a glass.
"To Jon Stark!"
"To Jon Targaryen." Draco corrected.
"Hey daddio you can't say no anymore because Jon is legit!" Davina declared. Tywin rolled his eyes, he would find another reason to keep Davina his little girl a bit longer.
Jon Stark, really did have a nice ring to it.
But when he married Davina, he would be Jon Targaryen. They would be Targaryen.
