Lundyn

My alarm rang loudly on my nightstand making me groan loudly. I reached over and turned it off and stared at my ceiling as a small smile formed on my face. Today was the day of me and Jayda's going away party and it was kind of bittersweet and exciting at the same time.

We were really about to be some college girls!

I threw my covers back and made my way to the bathroom to do my hygiene stuff before going to Jayda's room to wake her up. It was a little after ten in the morning so it was perfect timing. We still had to do a little shopping for our dorm room before the party started later today.

"Wake up sleepy head!" I jumped on Jayda's bed making her toss and turn.

"Nooo." She mumbled and pulled her covers over her face.

"Girl come on, we gots money to spend!" I yanked the covers off her. "Get up chica!" I pulled her leg and pulled her out the bed and laughed loudly.

I was for sure in a great mood today and I needed her to be too. Things were just falling right into place for the better good and I couldnt be happier. Me and Jayda were able to get a dorm room together which is great because we didnt have to be paired with a stranger. My papá sent me money to get my Jeep fixed and up to par so we'll be driving down there come Monday morning.

I was super excited for this upcoming journey.

"Lundynnnn I need a few more minutes." Jayda mumbles and I laughed.

"Girl we gots shit to do; ¡Ahora date prisa!" I smacked her thighs and left out her room.

I returned to my room to get dressed and played music at a medium volume on my soundbar. Sza's voice filled my room as I searched my closet for something to wear for the day out. We finally moved into the new house in Culver City and it was absolutely beautiful. The whole house was open concept and James and my mamás room was on one side of the house and the rooms me and Jayda were in was on the other side. It was a three bedroom two bathroom house with a nicely did backyard. It wasnt like the small houses in the heart of L.A., it actually had some space in between you and your neighbors and we had a garage.

Some would say the house is cookie cutter but we all still loved it and it was a new construction. My mamá deserved to be in something newer because the places we've lived in in L.A. were not the very best and the area wasn't the best either. My mom hated the bars on the windows at all the places we stayed at, and hated how close our neighbors were. Oh and lets not forget about the parking situation; it was either on the street or we would shared the small driveway by taking turns every other week to park our cars. I always just parked on the street because it wasnt worth the time or hassle every other week to be trying to park my car.

Even though our garage was in the back of our house here, I was still happy to be able to have designated parking by our house and not have to worry about my car being side-swiped anymore.

Settling for some biker shorts and one of Zion's graphic shirts that I stole from him; I swayed to the music lightly and sang my heart out. The shirt still smelled like Zion even after washing it; that cologne was strong as hell and expensive.

I was excited to see my man later on today.

"Sis you have some edge control?!" Jayda came into my room yelling.

She was still in her Skims that she wore to sleep and I can tell she did her hygiene stuff because her face was clear and shiny and I smelled the face wash that she uses soon as she stepped intoy room.

I turned my music down some and smirked as I looked at her thick long hair. "You're not gonna wear it down no more?" I asked her as I walked over to my dresser and opened the top drawer where my hair things were located.
