To restart life

Chapter 7 - babysitter

A couple days have passed since dean was ill. They haven't done much they've been to the the shop twice but that's about it. They watched a few films, deans done a bit of colouring but other than that they've done nothing but chilled. One thing that Sam had noticed though was that Dean had been having accidents more frequently and had struggled eating whole foods and had barely spoke a word and had became more emotional over the last few days. Sam was staring to get a bit concerned about deans change in behaviour so he called the doctor who had informed him that it's nothing to worry about and that dean has just regressed a bit more younger. Giving Sam a bit of relief that it was nothing too serious or worrying.

It was now a Monday morning at about nine thirty and Dean was still sleeping but Sam had been up for about half an hour was a wake in the living room watching tv when he got a call from Jo. Sam got told that he needed to go on this hunt it's important and that many peoples life are at risk and before Sam could respond jo told him that it's not optional and he had to meet him at a dinner in a small town in Arkansas. Sam then had no choice but to say yes but was slightly worried about the Dean situation because he hasn't told anyone about what had happened to Dean. While dean was still asleep Sam then called Castiel to come to the bunker ASAP as it is important . Within a couple of minutes castiel arrived at the bunker and when he came into the living Sam told him to sit down and explained everything. At first castiel was a bit angry that Sam hadn't told him sooner but he then calmed down and understood. Sam then asked castiel if he was alright with looking after dean tomorrow because he had to go on an important trip and castiel agreed to it and said he'll spend the night here.

After a while Dean woke up at about eleven when Sam heard dean wake up he went and sorted him out and headed back to the living room. When Dean saw castiel he tucked his head into sams neck and Sam told him to say hi which Dean had sort of complied to and waved to him but didn't make eye contact with cas. Sam then took Dean to the kitchen to make him some breakfast. When his breakfast was ready he fed him and went back to the living room and put a film on. Cas told Sam he had to go out for a bit so Sam thought he would take the opportunity to explain to Dean what was happening tomorrow as the were alone.

Let's say after hearing what Sam had explained to him Dean wasn't happy. He had started crying and kept repeating No and asked Sam to stay. This was making sams heartache because, even before the accident Dean had abandonment issues because his dad always left and his mother passing away when he was young, Sam wanted to stay with Dean but this case was important and he had to go on it. But Sam was thankful for cas helping him out tomorrow and that he was understanding of the situation that they were in. After the conversation sam and Dean had it took Dean a while to calm down but he did and they started watching a film and cas had returned which caused tears to swell up in deans eyes because he remembered that Sam was leaving and that cas had to look after him. Sam noticed this and started to run his hand through deans hair because it calms him down in which he did.

After a few hours passed by dean and cas was watching a film in the living rooms while Sam was making spaghetti bolognaise in the kitchen as it was tea time. Sam called them into the kitchen to eat but dean surprised cas when he grabbed his hand when they started walking into the kitchen. Sam saw this and smiled but turned back around to finish dishing up their dinner. Cas and dean sat at the table and then same gave them their dinner and then joined them with his food. Once they finished dean went to the living room and Sam went to do the dishes when cas insisted he would do them. So Sam went and joined dean in the living room and after couple of minutes so did cas.

After a couple of films it was time to go bed but it wasn't easy for sam because Dean was refusing. Dean was starting to cry again because Sam wasn't going to be there when he wakes up. Dean kept begging Sam to stay but Sam had to go and kept repeating 'no go'. This broke Sams heart Ofc because he didn't want to leave Dean but he knew Dean was in good hands with cas and he had to go work on this case but he was only going to be gone for two days but to Dean that was a long time. Eventually Sam had managed to calm Dean down who was now falling asleep in his arms. Sam carried him to his bedroom and tucked him in. He than joined cas in the living room where they watched a few episodes of American horror story before they made their way to bed.

The next morning Sam had woken up at 5:30 am, got dressed, had breakfast and a cup of coffee and then left the house at about 6:15 am. While cas had woken up at 7:30 am and chilled in the living room watching a few movies while he had the chance to. Dean woke up at 11:00 am and when cas heard him he headed towards deans room
But dean wasn't very happy when he didn't see sam enter. This had caused the water works to happen and Dean started crying which caused castiel to pick up his pace and he went to pick Dean up. When he asked Dean what was wrong all Dean replied with was 'dada' which caused cas to realise what was wrong. Castiel had soon comforted Dean and headed to the kitchen to feed him. After about an hour cas was a bit bored and decided to take Dean to the cinema to watch a film. So cas got dean ready and headed to the cinema. When they reached the cinema they had a look what movies they were showing, cas asked which film dean wanted to watch and he chose ratatouille. Cas brought a box of popcorn and a drink for them both. Then they went to their seats.

After the film was done dean was starting to drift off but cas tried to keep him awake until the car which he managed to do. The car journey was pretty much quiet except for the radio that was playing. When they arrived back home Dean was in a deep sleep so castiel took him to the bathroom changed his pull-up, put him in some pyjamas and then tucked him in bed. Castiel had watched a few episodes of criminal minds before getting up to make dinner as it was nearly tea time. He decided to make Mac and cheese as it was easy to cook. As the pasta was boiling castiel went into deans room to wake him up for tea. After a little while dean was watching SpongeBob in the living room while cas was just dishing out their dinners. Cas called dean in to which Dean had complied and sat at the table while cas had joined a minute later. They sat and enjoyed their dinner together in silence. A couple of hours had passed and castiel had done the dishes a while ago and was now watching tv with dean. Cas checked the time and realised it was now 10:00pm and decided it was time to go bed as he was tired and could tell Dean was because he kept yawning and drifting off. So he switched the tv off and told Dean it's time to go bed in which Dean just yawned and nodded with that cas and deans got sorted and ready for bed and went to bed.

It was now 7:00 am and castiel had woke up to his phone buzzing on the bedside table. He picked it up and seen sams  name on the screen so he answered and Sam had let him know that he was going to be back in 15 minutes but don't tell Dean cause he wants to surprise him which cas agreed to and then said goodbye and hung up. 15 minutes passed by and Sam had arrived and came in quietly. Cas made him a cup of coffee and asked him how the hunt was, Sam had said it went good and that he managed to kill the vampire nest without anybody being severely injured. After that he quickly and quietly had a shower and got change, once he had finished he told castiel he was going to wake Dean up  to which he said ok. Sam quietly went into deans room and woke him up at first Dean rolled over to face the other side of the room with a groan but same nudged him again to which Dean rubbed his eyes yawned and then realised that it was sam, and Dean had never been so happy in his life he practically jumped into Sam almost causing him to fall over to which sam had laughed at.

For the rest of the day it just consisted of Sam, Dean and Castiel relaxing in the living room, Netflix and chilling. After a couple of hours Sam was ordering pizza from Pizza Hut as neither Sam or cas could be bothered to cook any food for dinner so they made the decision of having a takeaway. Sam ordered 2 medium pizzas, one cheese and one pepperoni, some garlic bread and some cheesy tater tots as a side and some cookies for a dessert. After about an hour the food arrived and they enjoyed the food, saving the leftovers for tomorrow. After the food they continued to chill and watch Netflix until they eventually decided to make their way to their beds as it was late.
