'Charlus D. Potter,

Brother, I write to you to inform you that your youngest niece is finally joining the big boys at Hogwarts. It's been almost two years Charlus since I've last seen you in person, brother have I done something to upset you? If so please inform me as to what in a timely matter, it is unfair for the children who miss their Uncle Charlus, Aunt Dorea, and Causin Alister.

Margaret has grown like a weed, she is now taller than James, I fear she's going to be like you. I remember my envy when I came home that summer to see my little brother taller than I, I can still see the way I gloated when I became taller than you in 5th year, that didn't last long now did it?

Much like you, your niece has taken a keen interest in muggle healing, though her mind seems much more drawn toward midwifery. To this day I have little idea what you do at that muggle hospital.

James is just as wild as ever, I won the bet by the way Charlus, the boy did not get kicked out in his first year. And no, I pulled no strings for that. He's grown quite a lot, currently, the boy is beginning to become a man shall I say. His voice is cracking and he's starting to smell unpleasant, Effie has been very emotional lately because of it. I have to remind her daily that children grow and that he will always be her little boy, she just won't hear it, I fear for the day Margaret goes through her changes. My poor wife might just die on the spot.

Now, brother, you'll never guess who I had the pleasure of running into at Olivander's when I went to get my daughter a wand. Your old betrothal, she has taken a keen interest in my girl, even going as far as to formally invite Euphemia and me over for dinner after the children are off at school. I suppose you already know what's on her mind, she after all has two sons, one of which holds none of the Black families' Pureblood tendencies.

Euphemia is unsure if we should attend the dinner or not. I am thoroughly against it, I have no want nor need to go in a home that's riddled with dark magic, and it doesn't sound nice for someone to want a marry your child to their own. I never wanted that style of life for my children, as you don't want that for Al.

Much Love,

-Fleamont C. Potter"
