Chapter 4

"And this is the end of the tour." said Violet, opening the door to her room. Her bed was on the left side of the room and she had posters of her favorite bands and things hung up on the walls. She walked in and plopped down on her bed. I walked in and shut the door behind me. I looked around. She had a closet with nice clothes in it, and she had a nice radio. "You're room is sooo cool." I said, still looking around. "You think? I decorated it myself, but I never thought i was good at that kinda thing." she said, looking up at the ceiling. "Anyways, what do you wanna do?" "How about we play a game?" i suggested. "Great idea, I have one in mind." said Violet with a mischievous look in her eyes. "Let's play Truth or Dare." I smiled. Truth or Dare was my favorite game. I never had anyone to play it with, and now that I did, I was excited. "Alright, Truth or Dare it is." i said. "You ask me first." "Okay, Sarah, Truth? Or Dare?" she said. "Truth." i said. "Okay... Are you a virgin?" she asked. I laughed. "Whoa, gettin a little personal here. Haha." i said. "Does that bother you?"she asked, one eyebrow raised. "No, not at all." i answered. "Then answer the question." she said. "Yes... I am." i said, hoping she wouldnt judge me for it. "Wow." said Violet. "I'm actually kinda surprised." she said, both eyebrows raised. She nodded. "And why is that?" i said curiously. "Because..." she began to say. She hesitated for a moment. "You're a pretty attractive person." she said, looking down, biting her lip. She looked back up at me and stopped biting her lip. "Okay, your turn to ask me." she said. "Alrighty, Truth or Dare, Violet?" "Dare." she quickly answered. "Okay hmm..." I said. I tried to think of a great dare. "I got it. I dare you to strip naked and jump into the shower. The water has to be ice cold." i said. I felt pretty smart for coming up with that one. "Okay, wow." she said. "Nice one." She smiled and said, "Go start the water. You know where the bathroom is now." She began to take off her clothes and I went to the bathroom to start the water. Just as I began to turn the knob that turns the water on, she walked in, completely naked. I turned around. I couldn't help but stare. Her beauty was incredible. Every curve on her body was in just the right place. Her body was perfect. I strangely found myself wanting to touch it. "Is something wrong?" she asked, looking confused. I snapped out of it. "Huh? Oh, no, not at all." I said, prying my eyes away from her. Stop it. I thought to myself. You're not into girls. You can't be. You're into guys. Just like your supposed to be. But the more I thought about it, the more right it felt to like another person of the same gender. As a little girl, it had sounded so weird and outrageous to me. But i wasnt a little girl anymore, and I was definitely feeling something. Violet started the water herself and jumped into the shower. "AHH OH MY GOSH!" she shouted. "It's so cold! Im gonna get you back for this!" I started to laugh. "Not funny." she said, giggling. She got out of the shower, turned it off, and started heading back to her room with a towel in her arms. I followed behind. She sat back down on her bed, drying her hair with the towel. She was still naked. I sat beside her on the bed. "So Sarah, Truth or Dare?" she asked. "Dare." i said. She looked into my eyes. Then she looked at my lips, then back up at me. I looked down and then looked back up to meet her eyes. "I dare you to kiss me." she said. I blushed, my mouth was part way open. I had no words. My mom always told me it was wrong to like a girl, and she had made me think it was wrong too. But this felt so right. I didnt want to confuse myself, but maybe there was no confusion at all. I liked girls. And that was that. But i still thought about it being wrong. What if it really was wrong? Would I be doing something I'd regret if I kissed her? Just then, she grabbed my face and kissed me with full force. I wrapped my arms around her neck and kissed her back. I felt this incredible energy flow between us as we kissed, and i think she felt it too. She moved closer to me and grabbed my wrists, pinning me to the bed. The feeling was so amazing. The electricity felt so right. There were sparks. I didn't wanna stop. Just then, i heard a car door slam outside. It sounded like it was right outside Violet's house. It made both of us jump. I got up to look out the window. It was my mom. She had just gotten off of work and was about to go inside the house. "Oh shit." i said. "My mom's home and i cant be out when shes not home. I have to go. Im sorry." I quickly ran out her back door and went through my back door just before my mom came in through the front door. I ran and sat in a kitchen chair and acted like i had been playing a game on my phone. "Oh hey mom." i said, looking up for a quick moment, as if i had just noticed she was here. "Hey." she said. "Im gonna take a quick shower, okay? I had a rough day at work." she said, obviously worn out. "Okay, I'll just be sitting here." i said. My mom could never know. I still didnt know what i was feeling, and if she found out, I'd be dead. "Alright." she said. She went into the bathroom and i sat there, thinking about everything that had happened, and wondering what to do.
