Start of madness

(Hi! Quick author's note I'm not that good at grammar so sorry about that Also this is an original story :3)

My name is Yuki I'm a 14-year-old girl I have a pretty normal life, or at least had one.

October 8th, 2022

It was a normal day everything was perfect, Kids were at school and adults were at work.
It was 4th period English at Lilith Hills Academy, and suddenly a little device on the wall started flashing red, We all knew what it meant, Something was wrong. As The teacher rushed to check her email for more information, a million things rushed through my head at that moment. But never would I have thought it would be Zombies

"Hey Yuki can you promise me one thing" said a faint whisper, It was Monika my best friend.

"Yeah, what did you want?"

"Promise me we will stick together in case something happens?"

"Of course why would you even ask, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about though probably a false alarm," I said trying to be positive.

I wish that was true...

And just like that Zombies barged through the door, Run! was the last thing I heard before I panicked and grabbed Monika and ran through the halls infested with zombies. I didn't stop running not until I found an empty classroom. Just as I slammed the door and Monika and I caught our breath in the supposed "empty" classroom we turned around to see my brother and his friend. My brother is in the 11th grade he's 16 only 2 years older.

"Riku!" I shouted while running towards my brother to hug him.

"I'm happy to see you too but keep your voice down" my brother whispered.

"This is-" my brother tried explaining but I cut him off.

"I know your friend You have had him over at our house before, anyway hi Jason," I said

"Uh Hi I guess"

Hi... I'm Monika nice to meet you all I guess.

In reality we all knew each other except Jason and Monika

"Now what do we do?" I asked

"I think the best thing we can do is jump out the window," riku said.

"I guess If it means we get out of this place alive," added Jason

"But where will we go?" I questioned

"Our home, Mom gave me a spare set of keys" replied Sam.

"Ok then let's get going"
