Grace's POV
Adley and I walk back to the orioles dugout. " You really good in my jersey Btw," Adley said. " Thanks, I love wearing it," I said. Gunnar comes up to us, " What was that about with Bobby," Gunnar asked. " the fact that I'm wearing Orioles stuff and wearing Adley's Jersey," I said. " Oh he got protective," Gunnar said. " Yea, and he basically told Adley he and I can't date," I said. " Well that's too bad for him," Gunnar said with a smile. " We got to warm up," Adley said. " Alright see ya guys," I said. Then Adley and Gunnar went to warm up.
Gunnar's POV
" so I'm guessing everything went well, last night," I said. " Very well," Adley said with smile. " Good man," I said. " Thank you again, Gunnar," Adley said. " No problem, Adley you one of my best friends," I said.
I happy that everything is going well between them, and that I can bring them together and support them, Sometimes I feel like I'm more of brother to her then Bobby. truth is their bond isn't as strong you think. See the reason why Grace didn't attend Louisville like her brother is because he's always controlled in all aspects of life, but dating is the biggest. That why she went to Auburn and still lives in Alabama. she loves her brother but it was hard for her. I am the only she expressed this feelings to. As her best friend I have to protect but differently. I love her in ways that I can't express. Do I admit feelings have resurfaced a bit yes, but she's better off with Adley. God please just this end well please for my best friend's sake.
Grace's POV
I watched Adley and Gunnar play terrific against The dodgers. Then Will smith was up to bat, and I saw him looking my way. He smiles at him, i smiled back for some reason. Then after 2 pitches he hits a solo hr to right. If I wasn't wearing a orioles jersey rn I would be cheering for him. He then looked me and mouth " For you" I smiled at him.
Will's POV
She smiled at me twice, even after my solo shot. I maybe trying to steal her away but I'm doing it for me, I may have been right about the orioles but Im doing it right. Im just acting like im doing Bobby a favor. do I think that Bobby overreacted. Yes I do, Even with his intentions, Yes. you ask why the change in approach, well that's just not me. Bobby may be my best friend but he can be a bit much.
Grace's POV
The orioles ended winning by 1, but the game was great. I decided to go talk to Will. I went to the dodgers dugout. Bobby wasn't there currently which was good. " Hey Will, " I said. " Oh Hey, Grace," He smiled and face lit up. " That was a awesome homer, thatnks," I said. " Youre welcome, I'm sorry bout your brother early," Will said. " it's ok, hey how would like to mess with him more," I said. " How., so," Will asked. " Well I am going to wear dodger gear tomorrow, but I think your jersey would be the perfect touch," I said. " Really you want to where my jersey," Will ask in excitement. " Yes," I said. " sure sounds good," Will said. It was kind of cute how excited Will was. " Ill swing by and give a jersey," Will said. " Great thanks Will," I said with a smile. Then I went to Gunnar and Adley.
Will's POV
Wow this going greater then I thought. I mean Bobby did it to himself, in ways this teaching Bobby a lesson in a way. but the fact she's wearing my jersey tomorrow, Im so happy.
So a lot of things happened in this, New things have been revealed about Grace and Bobby's relationship, Gunnar admits something as well and Will is really not helping Bobby, Sorry Bobby I don't mean to make you a bad person 😖
